A complete Scrum course divided into multiple modules. Each module consists of multiple sections ending with a quiz that helps solidify the knowledge.
The course covers all core Scrum framework elements such as:
but also comes with additional modules divided to Scrum values (a new segment added to Scrum Guide this year), differences between the agile and waterfall approaches (to help the student get the broader perspective) and the Professional Scrum Master certification.
All of those modules, combined with a one on one support, Q&A section and additional materials provided by the course authors form a complete package. This Scrum encyclopedia can serve as a knowledge base for those who are already working with Scrum, those who have only heard about it and want to fully understand its principles and to those who are preparing for the PSM certification.
The course was created by two agile enthusiasts who work with Scrum teams and experience Scrum every day. Jarek and Paweł are Scrum Masters who started their adventure with IT projects in a waterfall environment, then worked with multiple teams on introducing the agile change and are currently working as Scrum Masters. Their professional experience allowed them to obtain the „full image” of the agile methodology (and the Scrum framework in particular) and how it relates to the waterfall approach.
I've been working as a Scrum Master since 2014.During that time I changed my employer from Minshare Poland, where I was working as a Project Manager for 2 years, to one of the biggest Polish media companies - Agora.
In Agora I worked as a Scrum Master in several different teams that were responsible for company's CMS, content websites and mobile applications.
I've spent my second year in Agora as a leader of a special "Agile Group". This group of people was responsible for Scrum and Agile evangelisation in the company and supported other Scrum Masters and Scrum Teams. We offered practical workshops about tools and techniques used in Scrum and taught pople how to change the mindset and become more Agile.
In September 2016 I took up the challange from DSV, a global transport and logistic company. In DSV I work as a Scrum Master in the "Mobility" team. We are responsible for developing mobile apps used by different people in the whole company.
I am the person who constantly learns new things. I own Professional Scrum Master Certificate I and I graduated post graduate degree in IT Project Management. I regularly take a part in conferences and meet-ups such as Scrum Days, Scrumvival and Agile Coach Camp. I also contribute to the JestemPM(dot)pl blog about Scrum, Agile and Project Management.
Paweł is a talkative, well organised and dynamic person leading project teams that develop web and mobile applications. He has 6 years of work experience in the project management and SEO fields backed up by multiple courses, postgraduate degrees and certificates.
During his career he has worked in a number of large media companies such as Agora SA or Wirtualna Polska as well as small software houses. He has been involved in IT projects as a Project Manager, Scrum Master and a Product Owner and because of that he clearly understands the differences between these roles.
He feels confident working in both agile and waterfall environments and owns the Prince2, AgilePM and Professional Scrum Master certificates.
In his free time he learns to play piano, lifts weights and writes about project management and internet marketing on the JestemPM(dot)pl blog.
