I’ve been in the music industry for 8+ years, and I’ve been paying attention. I’ve toured the world with my best friends, and been through hell and back with them. Our band Icon For Hire has sold hundreds of thousands of records and our videos have over 50 million YouTube views. We've released 3 Billboard charting albums, and we have 400,000 social media followers.
I know the darker side, too. We signed with a major label and we taken advantage of, as is so often the case. We fought our way out, and launched a record-breaking crowd-funding campaign*. I know the music industry inside and out, and I want to share my experience, successes, and mistakes to help you get to your dream in a way that you can feel good about.
And I’m passionate about sharing the love. Over 20,000 people are subscribed to my weekly video podcast, The REL Show, where I give heaping doses of inspiration and heartfelt ass kickings to my audience. I’ve taught the bestselling Turn Your Pain Into Art class to hundreds of fan on Warped Tour, and done online webinars to massive audiences.
I am so excited to share what I've learned with you!
(*Ok, I can’t really take credit for that one. That was our amazing, passionate fanbase, all the way.)
