Section 1: Initial Setup

We need an Apple developer license to be able to publish apps to the iTunes app store, here we go through the whole process.


We need a tool called XCode to be able to customize the app or game. Here we're downloading it and opening it.


Important: Download the source code from the tab folder of this lecture.


Getting familiar with the game code folders and assets organization.


The computer you're working on needs a certificate to make sure nobody else but you can publish apps and games with your credentials.


Each application needs a provisioning profile to be published on the app store.

Section 2: Modifying Graphics - Main Characters

After choosing a new theme for our very our game, we now get to create the main characters named Jump and Chump.


Resizing the Chump Character for all iPhones and iPads resolutions: retina display (HD), standard, iOS7.1 and up.


Here we're making sure the new graphics work smoothly when used within the game source code by launching the game in the iPhone simulator
