Section 3: EFT For Each Fear of Attracting Money

EFT can impact your obstacles to abundance. Joan shares more about what to expect in the following lectures.

“I don’t deserve money.”

Set up phrase:

Even though I don’t deserve money, I acknowledge this issue I have with money and now choose to release it.

Reminder phrase:

Who do I think I am, wanting to be rich. I don’t deserve to be successful.. I am not worthy of success.

Positive phrase:

What if I do deserve money just as much as anyone else? I now choose to release any conscious or unconscious blocks that keep me stuck in undeserving.

“It isn’t possible to be wealthy.”

Set up phrase:

Even though it isn’t possible to be wealthy, I acknowledge this block and choose to release it.

Reminder phrase:

It isn’t possible to be wealthy. I have lived at this income level all my life. This is my life and I am not going to have any more money than I have right now.

Positive phrase:

What if it IS possible to be wealthy? What if it could happen to me? With hard work and a belief in myself, I can achieve anything. I will never know until I try.

“I am afraid to fail.”

Set up statement:

Even though I am afraid of failure, I acknowledge my fear and choose to release it.

Reminder phrase:

I am terrified to fail. I am so terrified I can’t move. I am so stuck in my fear. If I don’t do anything I can’t fail. Failure is a scary thing. Failure is not acceptable. That is what my parents taught me. I am not allowed to fail therefore I won’t even try. The pressure is too great.

Positive Phrase:

I now choose to remove my fear of failure. Failing is learning. If I fail or make the wrong decision I will choose another direction. It is ok to fail. I learn when I fail. What if I succeed? I am excited to try.

“I am afraid to succeed.”

Set up statement:

Even though I am afraid to succeed, I acknowledge this fear and I choose to release it.

Reminder phrase:

If I succeed my life will change. I will meet new people. I will have more work. I am not sure I will be able to handle all the abundance that is coming? My fear is blocking my wealth. I now choose to release my fear of success.

Positive Phrase:

I am so excited to succeed. I am attracting a new level of success for myself and my family. I will ask for help. I will learn to delegate. I will be able to create an endowment fund to help others. BRING ON SUCCESS!!

“It is evil to be wealthy.”

Set up Statement:

Even though it is evil to make money, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Reminder phrase:

Poverty is next to Godliness.

Money is the root of all evil. Money comes from the devil. Horrible things come with getting rich.

God does not want me to be rich. That is what I learned growing up.

Positive Phrase:

God does want me to succeed. God is trying to send abundance right now. My belief that God doesn’t want me to be rich is blocking it. I choose to release this belief. God wants everyone to succeed including me. I can give more away to those in need when I am rich. I welcome abundance so I can do God’s work.

“My spouse will be jealous if I am more successful than they are”

Set up statement:

Even though my spouse will be so jealous if I make more money than them, I acknowledge this fear, release it and take back my power.

Reminder phrase:

I am afraid my spouse/partner might get mad or leave me if I become more successful than they are. What if they leave me? What if I am alone? If I make more money it will pull us apart. I must make equal to or less than them or else they might get jealous and be mad at me or worse, leave me.

“My family will be angry if I am successful.”

Set up statement:

Even though my family will be angry if I am wealthy, I acknowledge this fear and choose to release it.

Reminder phrase:

What if I choose to push through this fear and release it. What if my family is happy for me? If they become jealous or angry with my success, that is their reaction. I will not let that stop me from my destiny and attracting more money into my life.

Positive phrase:

I choose to attract wealth into my life whether my family is happy for me or not.

“My friends will be jealous and angry with me if I am successful.”

Set up phrase:

Even though my friends will be angry or jealous if I make more money than them, I acknowledge this fear and choose to release it.

Reminder phrase:

My friends might stop being my friends if I am more successful than they are. They might be mad or jealous. I don’t want them to be made at me. I am so afraid they might leave me.

Positive phrase:

What if I choose to push through this fear and release it. If my friends are jealous or stop being my friends, that is their decision. I will be ok. I will not let that stop me from my dreams and allowing money to flow towards me. When I am not afraid abundance flows to me.

“My life will change with success.”

Set up phrase:

Even though my life will change, I acknowledge my fear of the unknown and choose to release it.

Reminder phrase:

I am so scared about the future. My life will change with more success. I won’t be able to handle all the changes even though they are positive. This fear…….

Positive phrase:

I look forward to whatever the future holds. I am ready for success and abundance. It is exciting to anticipate all the ways my life will change. I can’t imagine all the possibilities right now. They are all positive.

“It isn’t safe to succeed.”

Set up phrase:

Even though it is not safe to have more money, I deeply and completely accept myself anyway.

Reminder phrase:

I choose to acknowledge my fear of safety and release it now.

Positive phrase:

It IS safe to succeed. I release this fear now.

“All my unconscious blocks”

Set up phrase:

Even though I have unconscious blocks to attracting money, I acknowledge these blocks and choose to release them.

Reminder phrase:

All the unconscious blocks I have I now choose to release them. I don’t need them. They are stopping my success. I choose to release unconscious blocks to achieving success.

Positive phrase:

All conscious and unconscious blocks are gone. Money flows to me easily.

“All the blocks I have inherited from my parents and ancestors.”

Set up statement:

Even though I learned and inherited negative beliefs about money from my parents and ancestors, I choose to release them not. They are stopping money from flowing to me.

Reminder phrase:

All the negative beliefs I inherited from my parents and ancestors are leaving now. I release all the criticisms and negative messages from my parents, relatives and ancestors now. They are not my thoughts. They come from a wounded place deep in my ancestry. I choose to change these patterns. I release these negative patterns and beliefs now.

Positive phrase:

I am no longer confined by my parents and ancestors beliefs. I am making new positive patterns and beliefs. Money flows to me easily.

Instructor Biography

Joan Kaylor, Licensed Professional Counselor, MSEd., LPC, DCEP, ACAP-EFT

After earning her B.A. in sociology and psychology from Muskingum College in Ohio, Joan began working as a real estate property manager. She pulled her hair more than ever and added compulsive checking to her list of OCD traits. She did not hide her pulling from her co-workers but was dismayed to think she was the only one who pulled and that no mental health professional knew how to help her. She had been to a psychiatrist and therapist who were unable to help her. This was before current medications and treatment methods were known.

Joan began pulling her hair at age 11 in 6th grade. Her pulled from her scalp for 25 years from age 11 to 36. In 1989, she read the book “The Boy Who Couldn’t Stop Washing” by Judith Rapoport, M.D. Upon reading her book, she discovered “Jackie P.”, a woman who pulled out every hair on her head and face. From her insistence, she would not be turned away by the NIMH study of OCD. From Jackie P’s courage to come forward, herself and millions of “pullers” now know they are not alone with Trichotillomania.

Trichotillomania is the inability to resist the urge to pull out hair resulting in noticeable hair loss. The act of pulling comforts, eases emotional pain, and is fun until the pulling episode is over. Then the puller experiences extreme shame, disgust, and anger over mutilating themselves and losing control. " I have been on both sides of this fence and have dedicated my life to helping people out of this cycle" Kaylor states.

From the studies at the National Institute of Mental Health … and because of the work of the Trichotillomania Learning Center and Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation, millions of people now can recognize symptoms of trichotillomania and OCD.
