This course is a 10,000 view of the Project Management topic. It is NOT a PMP certification course, although areas that the PMI teach are covered. If you are already a PM and are looking for certification type of courses, this course will be too basic for you. This course is intended for an audience of people who already do project management as a role or are newbies getting into the area. It provides an overall look at the different topics so that you can understand the jargon thrown around in the industry. It will help explain the tools used and the processes to follow.
If you are looking for a deeper dive into any of the areas of this course or anything Project Management related, shoot me an email, as I can do a one-on-one session with you or create an entire course specifically on that topic.
Project Managers (especially PMP certified PMs) on average make $100,000 per year salary. Here's the proof.
This was the first course I took on Udemy and I really enjoyed it! It was a great overall introduction to Project Management and has helped me get a grasp on starting, working through and completing projects. A couple of the tutorials did cut out early, which is more of a technical glitch than anything to do with content. I have now signed up for a number of other courses and look forward to completing those! Thank you! Seanna
Provides a thorough, high-level overview of project management. I am brand new to PM and was able to follow most of the slides. Natalie is well spoken and enjoyable to listen to.
You should have 2 seconds of silence at each end of the video. These all have about -1 seconds. Also there were numerous typos and misreadings.
If you are new to Project Management you will find a useful plethora of information. The pace is quick but one can simply replay the videos. This class is great if have no previous Project Management experience.
not a big fan of PMs or PMP stuff but it is important - you want to have checks and balance, plus the discipline keeps things organized. the course covers everything at the right level. definitely concise but bit pricey.
