This covers Project Resource Management,Resource Estimation,Project Cost Management,Develop Budget and Cost Baseline,Earned Value Method,Project Procurement Management.

The resources needed to deliver a project, programme or portfolio include people, machinery, materials, technology, property and anything else required to deliver the work. Resources may be obtained internally from the host organisation or procured from external sources. This course deals with Project Resource Management. Understanding how to manage resources such as time, cost, and internal and external staff members across the portfolio can make the difference between portfolio success and failure.

During the training course you will address two broad themes that underpin project cost:
The project budget - What is the project budget and how does it compare to the final cost
Cost estimating - How do we develop an estimate of the cost - and does this differ between client, designer and contractor
Risk and value - How are risk and value incorporated into the budget

Set against a background of estimating in the construction industry you will explore the elements of project cost and how budgets are established. Working from first principles, cost build up and bills of quantities will be developed and tested using case studies. Contractor tender pricing processes and the effects of risk, value and decision making on project costs will be explored.

This course is designed for project managers who will have procurement responsibilities and for those who will interact with designated procurement professionals. The objective of Project Procurement Management is to prepare the project manager and project management team to effectively manage the procurement and contracting aspects of a project.

I  was apparently not a diligent student. I worked with C/C++ and HTML, CSS, JavaScript since 12 years. I speak to the world on software freedom. From the beginning of my career I have always worked in large and small teams. While programming has been more of a individual activity, it is the collaboration in teams that can make and break a project. I have been interested in algorithms and data structures and its implementations especially in Java since university.

I am a co-author of various manuals, and has edited and reviewed more than a dozen other books. I wrote columns that provided keen insights into the little algorithmic nuggets that we use in our programs. My favorite books includes  "Writing Efficient Programs", "More Programming Pearls" and "Programming Pearls". The best programmers not only continuously improved the quality of their work, they also influence other members of their team.

I learned about project management and team interaction working at various organisations. I still believe that humans are still at the beginning of the code revolution. Programmers and users are still imitating what came before, and haven’t even imagined all that could be in the future. One thing I am sure of is that code is a type of language, based on the same logic as Sanskrit, and for the first time in history, language can change the physical world. Programming is a literature.

I've always had a passion for teaching in seminars and corporations during my consulting projects.
