Now that you know the basics, we can begin working through segment proofs. Memorizing the properties, postulates, and theorems is necessary for success in Geometry. I have attached a handout to assist you throughout the lessons, but memorization of these Postulates, Properties, Theorems, and Definitions is necessary.
After competing this Unit, you will be able to use postulates to prove that geometric statements are always, sometimes, or never true. You will also be able to use properties of segments to prove segment relationships in a formal, two-column proof.
