The structure of the course is laid so that you start from beginning to end on the process of planning, asset gathering, recording, editing, and finally sharing your podcast.

Section 1: Introduction to the Course
This introductory video will go over what it is that you will learn in this the course. 
Section 2: Ways to use Podcasts in Teaching

This is a short presentation on the ways to use Podcasts in the classroom and as assignments for learners.

Section 3: Overview of Podcasts
Video Overview of an audio podcast and how to find other podcasts in iTunes and on the web.
This video shows and describes the video podcast.
This is an example of an enhanced podcast and the ability to show multiple images along with the addition of URLs in the podcast.
Section 4: Planning A Podcast

This presentation will walk you through the planning stage of writing your podcast script. It will give  you a base to follow as a guideline when you sit down to write the script.

I have also included a Grading Rubric in the supplemental materials section to be used as a base guideline for assessing the Planning Process.

In this video I walk you through the process of planning and show you how to use good file management , plan the storyboard and so on.
Section 5: Importing and arranging Media inside GarageBand
A brief overview of how to launch the application, setup an initial Podcast template, and go over the layout of the interface.
In this video I show you how to follow the storyboards and import your images from your hard drive.
This video covers the initial recording and editing of mistakes. It also gives a tip about recording and encountering mistakes.
We further the explore the addition of adding loops into the podcast. We touch on volume and a process called "Ducking" to help us automatically reduce the background music.
This video demonstrates how to properly add in the URLs for an enhanced Podcast.
After all of your hard work, we finally get to export the podcast so that we can share it with others.

I have also included an Overall Podcast Grading Rubric in the supplemental materials section to be used as a base guideline for assessing the entire podcast production.
Section 6: Advanced Techniques / Tips
Using the solo button allow you to single out a track for editing or recording of new material inside a garageband project.
There is a built in Notepad inside GarageBand that can help you take notes, make changes and other things with ease.
You can easily add a robotic voice or reverb to your tracks using effects. Check it out and experiment!
Using the automation button, you will be able to adjust the volume track over a period of time for varied effects end editing purposes.
Sometimes the images you use for the Podcast track have a different aspect ratio other than square. Use the Artwork Editor to adjust the cropping.
There are to actions in the Track menu (fade, and Join clip) that allow you some extra efficiency in your editing.

This is a quick overview of iPhoto. We import and make an event for our image files. We then use Garageband to import them.
