This course in Ladder Logic Basics covers, Boolean operators, data types and set points, timers and counters. There are screen shots, videos, quizzes and slide shows of ladder diagrams along the way that help you learn through practice, more than through reading. It's fun, practical and at times almost feels like a puzzle that you just have to solve!
If you are interested in PLC programming as a career or if you simply want to know more about the machine that you work with everyday this is the course for you.
The course will take about 2 hours to complete and after that you will be more than capable in the language we call ladder logic.
You should take this course if:
- you want to further you career as an engineer
- you want to further you career as an electrician
- you want to understand the PLC's that you wire at work
- you want to stay up to date with modern technology.
PLC's are used in just about everything electrical these days, including things like traffic lights, home automation systems, water distribution (for your whole city), power generation (for your whole country) and smaller things like temperature and humidity control in Macadamia Curing factories.
Get with the times and get in the loop with ladder logics.
I'm a PLC programmer who has worked on Multi Million Dollar projects in South Africa, Mozambique, and Swaziland. The projects range from water distribution, waste water, macadamia curing, irrigation systems, 20MW Turbines and the like. I absolutely love sharing what I know and I thrive on seeing others prosper through any knowledge and encouragement I can provide.
