Wanna know a secret? It's no longer about the number of likes your Facebook page has as an actor, but the impression you leave on someone after they engage with your page.

If you feel like you're not booking enough, I bet it has something to do with your digital presence (or lack of one). I really believe my Facebook page has helped increase my odds of booking because it's easy for people to learn more about me.

However, most of you just aren't sure what to post based on the convos I've had, so I created this course.

You have chosen an industry that thrives on networking, so make sure you have this number one networking tool pieced together correctly. Networking also includes making a good impression on anyone who just simply looks at your page.

Remember, most people do not want to add an actor as a friend, but rather like their page.

Casting directors, agents, and directors might not click like on your page, but they will look at it. What will they say about you?

You can create a stronger online presence, starting with your (free) Facebook Page--you do have one right? You must format it correctly, though, but where do you start?!

This step-by-step tutorial will show you exactly how to build a professional Actor Facebook Page to show off your personality, make a strong first impression, and correctly grow your network--all of which may increase your odds of booking the job.

Spurgeon's mission? Helping fellow actors get healthy--physically and digitally.

After signing with JTA Talent Agency in 2016, Spurgeon booked with popular brands such as Audi, Pepsi, Hoover, and Bank of America.

She currently studies with Lon Bumgarner and Marilyn Carter at the Film Actors' Studio Charlotte.

You can see her in the feature film A Fish Tale later this year, with Robert Carradine.

Spurgeon and her husband recently sold their 10 acre farm to cash in on their completely remodeled DIY house flip, even though it was hard to say goodbye to their honeybees. They are currently debating whether or not to create a course on DIY house flipping.

Once she had more time on her hands, Spurgeon started the free closed Facebook group Healthy Fit Actors to help busy actors take care of themselves on a budget because "our bodies are our instruments."

She tried to network with her fellow actors on Facebook further, and realized most of her peers did not have active Facebook pages. After discussing the issue with multiple actors, they all said the same thing: "I'm just not sure what to post."

Thus began Spurgeon's Udemy career.
