*This is the 5th unit in my Geometry curriculum. It may be beneficial for students to complete Units 1-4 before starting this course.*
Now that you have learned how to create segment proofs and angle proofs, you will learn how to write proofs with angles created by parallel lines and transversals. You should feel comfortable with all types of basic proofs by the end of this unit. Like in Units 3-4, memorization of all of these angle Properties, Postulates, Theorems, and Definitions is necessary.
This Unit will discuss parallel lines, transversals, and more vocabulary. In Lesson 3, you will use your knowledge of parallel lines and transversals to solve algebraic problems. After completing this unit, you should feel confident to approach any parallel line/transversal problem.
The lessons in this unit cover: Parallel Lines and Transversals, Parallel Line Proofs, and Algebra and Parallel Lines.
