If you need help with Physics, you're in the right place. The Physics Boot Camp team has decades of experience of helping students of all abilities improve their GCSE science grades.
This course includes video lectures for every section, downloadable worksheets (with answers) for practice and a summary quiz for each section. Before you spend money on a private tutor, try our course - you can access the course when and where it suits you and the whole unit costs less than one session with a tutor!
This course covers the unit P3 - Forces for Transport, which is part of the OCR Gateway Science Additional Science or Physics B course. If this is not your exam board or course, then check out our instructor page for a suitable course for you.
In this unit you will learn about how forces affect motion, describing that motion and analysing the energy transfers involved.
We use our expertise from helping thousands of students to highlight the key areas that you need for your exam, along with helping you avoid the mistakes that everyone else makes!

This course is P3 - Forces for Transport which is suitable for anyone taking the OCR Gateway Additional Science or Physics (B) exams.
We have divided the course into 3 sections:
A quiz is included at the end of each section for you to check your progress.Taking two minutes to complete our pre-course survey (see resources) will help us to help you in the future!
Newton's 2nd Law describes the relationship between force, mass and acceleration.
Knowing the difference between weight and mass is a skill that will help you avoid lots of confusion when confronted with a tricky question on the exam paper.
Friction is something that we experience all day, every day. This session helps you to explain why it happens and how to increase or decrease it.
There are two motion graphs that you need to know: distance-time and velocity-time graphs. Students tend to find these straightforward when dealing with them separately but look at them together and it's chaos! This session will highlight the key features to look for so that you can cope with whatever type of motion graph is thrown at you in the exam.
This session will help you understand alternative fuels for cars and why they will be necessary in the future.
This session tackles how quickly energy is used to do tasks, which is more simply known as power!
Energy transfers for falling objects are my favourite part of this unit! Regardless of whether you love this or hate it, this session would help you conquer this kind of question on your exam.
