    Dr. John Spencer Ellis, Health, Fitness, Personal Development and Self-Defense

    John knew from the age of 12, when he received his first health club membership as a birthday gift from his father, that fitness & personal development would be his calling.     Yuri Boiarsky, 30 years training/teaching in the US and internationally

    Yuri Boiarsky trained and became a Krav Maga instructor in Netanya, Israel under Mr. Eli Avikzar (the top student at the time of Imi Lichtenfeld, founder of Krav Maga). He received his black belt directly from Imi Lichtenfeld. Yuri holds a 2nd Degree Black belt in Krav Maga. He is a graduate of the School for Instructors at the Wingate Institute for Martial Arts Education. He taught the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) as well as civilians and Israeli law enforcement personnel. Yuri provided training to Israeli security forces protecting embassies and consulates as well as local law enforcement agencies in the U.S. He is a co-owner and has been teaching with Krav Maga of Orange County since 2001. In addition to Krav Maga, Yuri has trained in Aikido, boxing, kickboxing and Thai boxing. In addition to teaching adults, Yuri is a certified km-X, (Krav Maga for Kids) Instructor and the head of the program in his schools. Yuri currently serves as a faculty member of the MMA Conditioning Association. He is also a certified Law Enforcement Instructor. He is a co-founder of the Survival Combat Fitness (SCF) program.
