    Good Teacher but...

The quality of the course is terrible to the point that it's actually painful to watch. Shaky camera work that at times doesn't even focus on what the instructor is doing, the student filming is constantly coughing and chewing gum, and at one point he even answers his phone! The videos even end with the instructor telling the student filming to "cut it". That is highly unprofessional and should've been edited out. These videos were originally from the instructor's youtube channel. I think it would've been best to film the course again with a tripod and out of a class environment. The course might be free, but that's no excuse for poor quality. It's a shame, the instructor is very good, but it's ridiculous that he thinks it's ok to upload such poorly filmed video to udemy just because he's not charging for it. If he filmed it again in better quality I would happily pay for it. I was so infuriated while watching this course, now I am hesitant to watch his drawing classes because they have the same issues.

The Colour Theory explanations are great

The Colour theory with this course was excellent. The explanations during the painting on how/what colours were mixed was also good. I think that's the main part I will take away (and come back to) from this course.

    just cant watch it

I feel bad giving it only two stars when I have not watched it but its just to shaky and imposable to focus on what he is saying.

I'm enjoying these classes and learning new techniques.

Thank you for a great Course

I studied life drawing and painting years ago and loved every minute of it. This course is very accurate and convincing. The knowledge displayed by Donelli is excellent and very much like what I learn't, so I would encourage any artist to take careful note of every detail. It is important to practice all the skills over and over. I would like to see the notes displayed in the videos also be included as notes to go with each video in the download section. They are extremely valuable and helpful. Some talking and other distractions in the videos just make the lessons more convincing and just like being there.
