Static electricity isn't just for keeping physics students (and teachers) entertained in the laboratory - it has a lot of real world applications and we'll learn about three of those here.


Circuits don't work by magic but often students think of them in that mysterious way! This session will help you understand what is actually  happening in the wires in a circuit.


Why does electricity move around the circuit in the first place? Thissession will help you answer that and apply your knowledge to analyse circuits.


The relationship between voltage, current and resistance is essential to understand what is happening in circuits. We've done current and  voltage in the last two sessions... so guess what this one is about!

Describe what is happening in circuits in terms of energy transfers

You put a plug in a socket and, as if by magic, electrical devices work in your home. This session will help you learn about how the 'magic' happens!
