Description

Moving Past Defeating Thoughts will cover the defining defeating, negative thoughts that may keep us captive.  They keep us captive by preventing us from moving forward in life. This course is about being in the present and being able to easily come back to the present when our minds present us with overwhelming and defeating thoughts, such as, being unworthy, being unloved, or simply reliving moments that have been reconciled in the past. Sometimes it's a matter of thoughts that tell us that we are just not good enough. This course will cover methods by which to move past these negative thoughts to help give our lives richer meaning. These type of thoughts may never fully go away in one’s life, but techniques can be put into place that assist with moving past these type of thoughts, if that is necessary.  Sometimes these thoughts come back up because they need to be dealt with, sometimes though the thought needs to be asked to leave the space that it holds in one's mind, and that is the students choice.

Who is the target audience?
  • This course is for anyone that struggles with recurring negative thoughts and patterns in the mind.
  • This course is for anyone who would like to move past these negative thoughts.
  • This course is for anyone who wants to grow personally, specifically with moving past negative life events that are no longer relevant to current life, and the thoughts that hold them captive.
