Ever looked at your wardrobe and thought "I have so many different things that I could wear, and looks I could try, but I don't know where to start?"
Well we've all been there, and this is the course that will help you think through your own personal style and how to feel great about your wardrobe and what you choose to wear!
In this action packed course, Gregory and Linos will walk you through the gamut of things you need to know - from providing a high level overview of our viewpoint on mens fashion, to introducing three key principles that we follow which makes it easier for us to make decisions on what to wear, to looking at different pieces of clothing piece-by-piece so you can see how the framework applies to individual items, to how you can gain confidence and inspiration for new ideas and looks about fashion!
In this lecture learn more about your instructors, Gregory and Linos, why this course was made, and the great things that you'll learn over the next couple of hours!
Fit is Everything. Keep It Simple. Be Unique.
These are the three key principles that will define this course, so take a look as you are given a high-level overview of each.
Time to jump in and start exploring your wardrobe!
Choose three of your favorite items of clothing, take a picture of each item, and post them in the Q&A section with an explanation of why you like them. This quick exercise will help you see that you already have your own sense of style and get inspiration from other students items (and most importantly let us know if you like Gregory's or Linos' items better!)
In this section we'll:
a) Dive into each of the three principles we mentioned in the last section one by one, in order to provide you with a full understanding of the framework
b) Give you an opportunity to assess your wardrobe with this new framework in mind
c) Take you on location with different camera set-ups (to keep you guessing on where we'll end up next!)
This is the core principle in the framework and our instructors Gregory and Linos will walk you through how to identify well fitted clothes and why it is so important to think about fit when choosing what you wear.
"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" - Leonardo da Vinci (and Gregory and Linos)
This is a quote that both Gregory and Linos really agree with (both in life and fashion) and in this lecture they'll show you how a simple look is actually really sharp and why keeping it simple works all the time.
The great thing about your fashion is that it is something that allows you to express yourself in your own unique way.
This should never be lost and in this lecture Gregory and Linos highlight some ways that you can add your own twist to your looks and highlight why this is so important.

In this section Gregory and Linos will touch on both of these items and at the end of it all you should feel very inspired in both having your staple looks and finding new items to wear!
In this lecture Gregory and Linos will touch on the key staples in their wardrobe that frame their looks and explain how you can build some staples of your own.
Fashion is all around us, from the internet, to the office, to the streets. In this lecture Gregory and Linos will explain how you can get inspired from the world around you and build new looks for yourself.
So now we want you to go to the well of inspiration that is all around and discover some new looks and pieces of clothing for yourself!
In this exercise feel free to take one of the recommended approaches shared by Gregory and Linos, and make sure to comment on it all in the Q&A section of this course.
We can't believe we made to the end ourselves! This lecture wraps up our course and recaps the key pillars of our framework as well as the what we've accomplished during this course. Thanks for making it till the end and we're looking forward to seeing you in the Q&A section.
Hi, I'm Gregory Boutte. During the day, I lead global operations for the supply side of Udemy’s marketplace, helping ensure our platform continues to deliver the most engaging and useful content from the world’s best instructors. I come from France, the country of fashion (!), and love soccer and surfing. Just like my fellow country men, I like clothes and thought I would join my colleague Linos to give a course about it on Udemy.
Hey! I'm Linos and I am on the Brand Team at Udemy. During my free time I like to do a lot of reading, listening to music, and experimenting with fashion - three things which I would say are passions of mine!
Having been at Udemy for a number of years I have been able to see a number of great courses come in from instructors and has now inspired me to do the same and create some great content!
