We will discuss what meditation is, the benefits of meditation, and go over many different methods to meditate. Follow along with step-by-step guided meditations for each style, so you can know exactly what to do and focus on.
In today’s hectic and busy world, it is extremely important to take some time to focus on your mind. Daily life can be very stressful while trying to manage work, school and your family life. Stress is not only uncomfortable, but could actually lead to many mental and physical health issues in the future.
Meditation seems easy, but many people find it difficult because they are not meditating correctly. Meditation is not just sitting for an extended period of time while thinking of nothing. Although this may be possible by the highest level of meditation practitioners, it is nearly impossible for the mind not to have any activity. So if you’ve had trouble meditating in the past because you couldn’t stop you mind from thinking, there’s hope for you yet! Your mind is supposed to think, but you must know how to focus that thought during meditation. This can be achieved using any of the meditation methods we will practice in the course.
Meditation allows you to set some time aside each day to calm your mind, and reset your brain from all the negative thoughts. In this course, you will learn many methods of meditation, as you follow along with over 7 styles of guided meditations!

Mindfulness meditation is the practice of intentionally focusing on the present moment, accepting and non-judgmentally paying attention to the sensations, thoughts, and emotions that arise.
For the breathing meditation session, we will be performing a lung expanding breathing pattern. We want to unlock our lower lungs to help bring in more oxygen to the muscles and organs, and also to increase lung strength
Zen is a very popular Japanese form of meditation, which is growing worldwide. The name Zazen translates into seated meditation.
We will discuss and practice Nada Yoga, also known as Sound Meditation. This is a focused attention meditation, where your awareness is on your hearing.
We will discuss and practice Affirmation meditation, also known as ‘I Am’ Meditations. This is a self enquiry meditation used to investigate our true nature.
Mantras are similar to affirmations, except you are not trying to convince yourself of something. The mantra is used as a tool to focus the mind, and the actual word used is less important.
We will discuss and practice singing bowls meditation. This is a focused attention meditation, where attention is focused only on the sound resonating from the singing bowls.
We will discuss and practice Binaural Beats meditation. Binaural Beat Meditation is similar to Tibetan Singing Bowls meditation. They both use sound as the central focal point of the mind and awareness. Binaural beats is a fairly recent form of meditation, which uses sound waves or frequencies to activate certain brain waves which are on the same frequency.
We will go over the benefits of adding meditation into your daily schedule. Meditation is a powerful technique that can add many benefits to a practitioners life.
Controlling your mind may be one of the most important skills anyone could obtain. We will discuss mind control, and how meditation can help your ability to control your mind and gain self awareness.
Here we will discuss consciousness and how to use meditation to expand your consciousness.
Life energy (chi) surrounds and flows through us at all times. We will go over how to tap into your internal life energy using meditation techniques.
Epigenetics explains that genes are merely a blueprint of instructions for a person’s traits. Our environment determines how certain chemicals and proteins react with our genes, and can actually dictate which parts of the genes to read and activate according to environmental factors.

About the Instructor
Jason has over 10 years teaching experience. He graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Business Information Systems. He is a lifelong martial artist that not only has a history of competing, but has also taught many students in the art of self defense and fitness.
Jason is also a published author, frequent traveller, and entrepreneur. He now runs Quantum Courses, which specializes in teaching how to leverage online sales channels (such as Amazon) to start an online business.
