Learn when and how to use 'Airplane Mode' on your iPhone as well as how you can still use Wifi and/or Bluetooth when Airplane Mode is on.

Settings: Do Not Disturb
In this lesson you'll learn about the different types of visual notifications and the notification 'shade'.
Inside the Settings App on your iPhone, under 'General' is a sub-menu with lots of information.  In this lesson you will learn what's important in here, and what you can customize.
Settings: Usage 1 (Storage & iCloud)
With these two menu functions you can set your battery display and also gauge the amount of cellular data you've both sent and received in this billing period (helpful to determine if you are within your data plan).
Section 8: Contacts
Introduction to Contacts
In this lesson you learn how to 'manually' type in a new Contact, with an overview of the different fields available for each contact.
In this lesson Chet will show you how to create new Contacts from email, (text) messages, telephone calls, and from the Maps App. 
Learn how to use the Contacts Tools in iCloud (or your Mac desktop or laptop computer) to create new Contacts Groups and move contacts into your Groups.
Section 9: Mail (eMail App)
In this first lesson on the iOS Mail App (the default application on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad for email communication) you will receive an introduction to the application layout... the Messages menu and gain an understanding of the layout in a given message.  Chet will also teach you the value of creating a VIP list (and how to do it) as well as how to use the Flag function.

In this 2nd lesson focused on the iOS Mail Application, you'll learn how to create a new email message, the different methods to add the recipient/s, how to add both Carbon and Blind Copies, how to attach photos to your email - without leaving the Mail App. You'll also learn how to save a Message as a Draft and how to 'clean house' (delete old messages and clear your trash). 

In this 3rd and final video lesson on the iOS Mail App you will learn the options available when replying to an email message... from a direct reply to forwarrd, Cc: and Bcc: 
and you'll learn how to manage multiple email accounts in your iPhone App.

Section 10: Safari (Apples Web Browser App)
In this first lesson on the Safari App - used to navigate the Internet on your Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad - you learn the layout of the application; how to navigate between the functions/screens, how to load a webpage from a URL (or website address), and how to use the built-in Search to find content on the Web.
In this video lesson we continue to learn about the use of Safari - the Apple iOS app for browsing the internet.  You'll learn to add bookmarks, organize the bookmarks into Folders, how to use the iOS Reading List and the iCloud Open Tabs function.

In this first lesson on the Apple Maps App, you will get familiar with the layout of the different functions/controls in the Maps App - and Chet will show you where and what the 3 different adjustments in the iOS Settings are that pertain to this Maps App.
Apple Maps App 2: Finding a landmark or destination, understanding the options in the labels/info banners, how to engage Turn by Turn navigation and what the options are to view a Route to a destination.
In this video Chet takes his iPhone (and you) out on the road so you can see and learn about the Turn By Turn Navigation option in the Apple Maps App.

Learn to use the Reminder App that's included in your iPhone - this can be a very useful tool to help us remember a myriad of tasks and obligations. NOTE: This lesson features the Reminder App in iOS6 (the App was introduced in iOS5 which has some different screen layouts)
In this second (of 2) lessons on the Reminders App you will learn how to set up additional Lists, how to filter your list view, and how to easily edit out your reminders.

This lesson will provide you with an understanding what WiFi is, it's benefits and some notes about using Free (public) WiFi with caution on your mobile devices.

In this lesson you will learn how to use the iOS Calendar App to organize your schedule/s.  Adding events, setting alerts (like a reminder), and the ability to filter different Calendars are presented in this video.

Section 22: Synchronizing/Backing Up Your iPhone with iTunes
This video lessons shows how you back-up (copy/save) the data on your iPhone to the hard-drive on your Desktop/laptop computer using the iTunes computer application.  Whether you are using an Apple/Mac or Windows computer, as long as you have recent version of the iTunes application (free here: ) you can use this operation to archive the data from your iOS device, which is recommended to do occasionally as well as before performing an iOS update/upgrade.
