In this lecture we are going to talk about the fundamentals. The five simple shapes that are going to make up our whole course.

Here we are going to start expanding our visual vocabulary with the materials that are going to help us create the content.

We’ve seen how simple lines can change the expression of a cartoon face. Now let's add some shapes to give these cartoons some individuality.

Your audience must be able to understand what processes are taking place. This brings us to the next section of our visual vocabulary - arrows.

Although visual  facilitation is trying to get rid of words and use images instead, if you are looking for the way to a create quality content, text will play a vital part in it.

In the final section of our visual vocabulary we are going to talk about colors. Colors can draw your eye to an image, evoke a certain mood or emotion and even communicate something important without using words at all.
