By the end of this course you will have an outline and a plan to launch your New Year's Resolution promotion for this year and for several years to come.

In the last lecture you focused on what you wanted to achieve with your promotion. In this lecture we will focus on what your audience is looking for. What is going on in their mind that you can help them with?


What are the common "major issues" of this time of the year? In this lecture we will review the common themes and how to connect them to your business. You will need to get creative here.


There are 5 marketing criteria that you need to address as you develop your marketing promotion. In this lecture we will review these 5 criterion so that you can weave them into your promotional campaign.


In this lecture we will look at what types of solutions work well this time of the year. Think about these types of solutions and how you can work them into what you have to offer.

Section 3: Timeline

In this lecture, you will start to set up your planning calendar so that you have enough time to plan and execute your promotion. I will share with you my insanely easy way of planning promotions that you can adopt and tweak to make it fit your work style. This tool saves me ton of time and keeps me on track!


In this lecture we will review how to get started with your personal planning system. Again, make sure you keep it simple. Don't create a cumbersome system. My post-it system is low cost and highly visual. Use my system or make your own but KEEP IT SIMPLE!


In this lecture we will go over the three stages of creating a promotion so that you can start to create your timeline.

Section 4: Preparation Part 1 - Your Offer

In this lecture we will take a high level view of the anatomy of an offer and then we will drill down in later lectures on each piece of the offer.


The New Year presents a set of challenges that you need to address with your offer. We will go over what these challenges are so that you can build your offer around them.


In this lecture we will revisit your goal for this promotion and decide what offer will move you toward your goal.


Warning: Don't build an offer based on features. No one really cares about the details at this point. Focus on the benefits. Remember WIIFM. What are the benefits and the results that they will get from buying from you?


In this lecture we will focus on getting people to take action. It is critical that you create urgency to get people to buy or join your list when they are reading your promotion.


In this lecture we will discuss timing and when is the best time to run your promotion.


In this lecture we will go over some hooks to consider. You will learn different angles to you and different associations and partnerships you can incorporate into your promotion to make it more effective.


Start brainstorming ideas for your January hook. In this lecture we will go over different national and international themes and dates to get your started.

Section 5: Preparation Part 2 - Crafting your Content

In this section you will learn about creating the physical content that makes up your promotion. This lecture will provide an overview of the main components.


It't time to do some research. Get some note paper and start looking around the web at what others are doing. In this lecture, I will tell you what to look for as you do your research.


In this lecture we will discuss what works well this time of year as far as images and colors go. We will also review some great places to get images.


Now that you have your ideas collected, it is time to create your actual images and sales pages. In this lecture we will go over how to get your images created and the different forms of the images that you will need.


In this lecture we will review the steps and then take action creating our promotional images and sales content.

Section 6: Preparation Part 3 - Marketing Plan

In this lecture we will look at what messages you will be creating as part of your promotion, when they will go out and how much time will pass in between each message.


In this lecture we will dive deep into what each message should communicate. We will talk about how to write your messages to that purchasing from you is the most logical conclusion. This type of marketing campaign will lead to success for this promotion and all the ones that you do in the future.


In this exercise, you will create your actual messages and keep them in a master document for easy reference.


In this exercise you will set up your automation so that you are free during your promotion to respond to questions and take an active role in your promotion.

Section 7: Preparation Part 4 - Sales Funnel

In this lecture you will discover the parts of a sales funnel and then go through and create each part of your funnel for this promotion.


In this lecture we will go over the importance of having some immediate communication from you and immediate actions to take as soon as a sale goes through.


In this exercise you will create each of your pages and upload them to your shopping cart or website. Be sure to create your cheatsheet to keep it all in order.


Test, Test, Test! Set your price to zero if you can and test entire funnel - make sure it all makes sense - again 3rd parties make this easy but you give up percentage of sales for convenience and security.

Section 8: Preparation Part 5 - Tracking

Create a tracking system to know what worked and what didn't work. This is a key factor in how successful your business will be this year. The better you get at tracking, the better you will be at future promotions.


Write an executive summary of what worked and what you want to change for the next time. The better you analyze your results, the faster you will grow.

Section 9: Launch

Once your promotion goes live, you want to go into TroubleShooting mode. In this lecture we will discuss the positive aspects of trouble shooting and what to look for.


Be active during your launch. Build upon what's working well. If something isn't working, make changes so that you get more interaction. In this lecture we will go over how to increase interaction during your promotion.


If you have great past customers, reach out to them personally and discuss your current offer, get their feedback on it, see if there is something special that they would like.

Section 10: Post - Launch

After your launch, it's time to study what happened. In this lecture we will talk about what to look for and what to do with the data you have collected during the launch.


Once your launch has ended, you need to start tracking and building customer relationships. In this lecture we will discuss how to build ongoing relationships and how to make some customers become VIP's.


Now that your promotion is over you need to make updates so that you have even better promotions in the future. In this lecture we will review what updates to make and how you can build upon your success this time.
