Course Description

Creating wealth - making money - is an exact science. Do things a certain way and get a specific result - every time. The challenge is most people don't know what to do; don't know the certain way; and can't figure out how to achieve a specific result. To further complicate matters, most people don't understand what money is, what business is all about, or even what they are after in the end.  Wealth, The Fundamentals explains all that. Learn what money is, what business is all about, and what people are really after. It's likely not what you think. Then discover the scientific process for making money. It's all very simple really - not necessarily easy, but simple.

Wealth, The Fundamentals takes the complexity out of money and markets by drilling down to the fundamentals - the fundamentals few people understand. Since most people are confused about the fundamentals, most people prefer to believe making money is hard. Stop telling yourself that. Making money is not complicated; it's not difficult. It doesn't take money to make money. It just takes a little vision, drive and determination; oh, and you must do things a certain way.

Everyone has the ability to make money - lots of money. It's a matter of knowing what to do. Sometimes all it takes to finally figure something out is to look at things from a new perspective.  Wealth, The Fundamentals offers exactly that - a new perspective.

Section 1: Start Here at the Beginning of MONEY, The New Science of Making It

MONEY Introduction and Overview. Explains why mastery of anything, particularly making money, requires focusing on the fundamentals. This introduction provides an overview of the program and draws a distinction between making money and taking money.

Section 2: MONEY PART 1 - Money Makes the World Go Round

We examine lessons from the wealthiest family in history to discover the keys to making money - Unity, Integrity, Industry - all leading to TRUST.

The traditional definition of money (medium of exchange, unit of account, store of value) does not go far enough. Money is a tool, an important, highly valued tool. Our system of money is a sophisticated social technology to help us do what we do, and get what we want. We use money to help us order our world.

People are the key component to the social system of money. We determine and establish value through our wants and needs - our desires. Money is a proxy for what we can have, do and become. Money is a form of energy - the currency of trust.

Money is a psychological store of value - it enlivens, facilitates trust. Though most people tend to think so, money is not the only way to get what you want. The real power of money, the currency of trust, resides in the energy of people. Money is always and only a means to an end. That "end" is a new feeling. To make money help people get what they want - help people change how they feel. That is what the essence of making money is all about.

10 questions

Compilation of ten multiple choice, true or false and fill in the blank questions relating to material covered in Part 1 of MONEY, The New Science of Making It.

Section 3: MONEY PART 2 - Let's Get Down to Business

John D. Rockefeller built an oil empire and amassed the greatest individual fortune in history. Rockefeller took control of his own destiny, collaborated with trustworthy, capable people and put money to work helping people get what they want.

Moving from theory to practice we explore how much money is in "the system" (the U.S. and international economies) and what moves that money around. Supply and demand, production and consumption are determined by what people are after and what people value. People make the money go round.

The people business is the business of creating things; of satisfying wants and needs. The labor people employ to build things and manufacture products endures - it travels through time. Enduring labor, the residual value of labor, acts as a lever you can use to make money. Everything we understand about this reality is the process of converting energy. Where energy or power surges opportunities abound.

Eighty percent of results come from twenty percent of efforts. We are surrounded by the vital few and the trivial many. The key to making money - lots of money - is determining which are the vital few and acting accordingly. To make really big money; to amass wealth requires leverage. Learn what the levers are and learn how to use them.

10 questions

A compilation of multiple choice, true or false, and fill in the blank questions to reinforce the concepts explored in Part 2 of MONEY, The New Science of Making It.

Section 4: MONEY PART 3 - The People Business

Vision, drive and a willingness to take risks are attributes of achievers. The richest man in the world today exhibited these traits to, most likely, serve and empower you.

Life works by certain rules, certain laws. It's not that we can break the law - it's just so much easier if we know what the rules are and play by the rules. Our core beliefs determine our approach to life. We reinforce and protect our core beliefs by means of the habits we adopt. Change your habits; change your life.

Creating is always a collaboration. Each of us has a choice to make: we can either compete or collaborate. Collaborating is the way to create value and make money. So it's time to adopt and sustain a relationship building habit - the best way to make money.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven. We live our lives by the rhythm of cycles. Money flows in accordance with cycles. Cycles are bigger than you or me. The key is knowing where you are in the cycle and acting appropriately.

10 questions

A compilation of ten multiple choice, true or false, and fill in the blank questions reinforcing keys concepts presented in Part 3 of MONEY, The New Science of Making It.

Section 5: MONEY PART 4 - Alchemy, All That Glitters Isn't Gold

Who are the highest paid entertainers? And why are the highest paid entertainers the highest paid entertainers? What do they have that you don't (besides millions of dollars)? They get people's attention and help them change how they feel.

Alchemy, that mysterious forerunner of modern chemistry, was an attempt to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. Making money is doing just that. To make money follow the Scientific Money Making Process.

While most traits and characteristics are plotted on a "normal" distribution making money is about hitting the sweet spot; finding and capitalizing on opportunities - working the levers. Energy and money flow to wherever people direct their attention.

The formulas are here, but first you must be something; then you must do something. To make money you must do things a certain way; you must conform to the laws of life; and you must create and deliver value. You must do something!

MONEY, Concept Review Questions Part 4
10 questions
Section 6: MONEY - Summary Conclusion

All of us are potential prospectors, miners and merchants. We prospect for opportunities; mine what we discover; and then bring what we have to market. Making money is a science. Do the best you can with what you've got. That is all you can do and that is enough. Draw out the nuggets, then master the fundamentals and create lasting value.
