In Manifesting Your Best Life Part 2, you will build on the solid foundation you established in the Part 1 of the course with world-renowned teacher and author Deepak Chopra and course guide Amanda Ringnalda. Deepak will continue to guide you in the practice of the sutras – a powerful meditation technique that is rooted in the ancient Vedic tradition of India. We will complete our exploration of the sutras in this course and establish a daily sutra practice.

People often use the terms “good karma” and “bad karma.” Good karma implies that good things are happening, while bad karma implies that bad things are happening. In reality, they are both prisons. Karma is:

  • A prison to the soul
  • Your past influencing the circumstances of your present
  • Your tendency to act out conditioned patterns of behavior

Take heart! You are not doomed to be a prisoner of karma; through your actions and spiritual practice, you can liberate yourself from karma. The freedom that arises from transcending karma is referred to as moksha, or liberation.

Moksha (MOKE-shah) is an ancient Sanskrit sutra that means freedom, liberation, or release. This sutra has been used for thousands of years by millions of people to transform negative energy into a higher state of awareness.

Moksha is the sutra for Thursday. You can also use this sutra any time you feel stressed, anxious, or out of balance. Imagine that you are pure, unlimited consciousness, free of whatever situation has thrown you off course.

Amanda Ringnalda is a Vedic educator at the Chopra Center for Wellbeing in Carlsbad, California, and serves as a host for many of the Center’s large live events. She has studied closely under Chopra Center co-founders, Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. David Simon, and gleaned wisdom from many other luminaries. She has completed three Chopra Center teaching certifications (Primordial Sound Meditation, Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, and Perfect Health: Ayurvedic Lifestyle). She has also completed both the 200- and 500-hour yoga teacher certifications from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers.
