Yes, you read that correctly. I'm going to teach you how to play guitar in 15 minutes. This 3 Part Series will give you everything you need to get up and running with the guitar.
Today I'll explain why most people fail at guitar, how the guitar works, and how to build your first chord: E minor.
I hope you enjoyed Day 1. In Part 2 of the series, I'll explain how to add a strumming pattern (D DU UDU) to the E minor you learned yesterday.
Are you enjoying the Series so far? Do you feel like you're making progress? Pretty cool, huh? Today's lesson is about changing chords on the guitar - one of the most frustrating aspects and the reason most people quit. Well I plan to change all that with....SuperGlue?
In this third and final part of the series, we'll take the strumming pattern and apply it to some new chords. These chords are easy to switch to and will allow you to LITERALLY play 1000's of songs.
Today we're going to improve the quality of your sleep.
I recommend taking the nap mid-day if possible, but if not, then when you get home from work is also a good time. Soon you will feel like a million bucks in the second half of your day and you will be WAY more productive!
If you absolutely HATE the idea of a nap and just want to improve the quality of your sleep at night, then I've also attached the Full Sleep track.
IMPORTANT: Remember to always use earbuds or headphones for this to work. If you would like even more comfort, then I HIGHLY recommend SleepPhones. You can find them on Google.
P.S. I actually recommend downloading the app Pzizz to have maximum control over the length of the tracks and custom options. Check out the links below.
Have you ever had a Lucid Dream? If you haven't, you're SERIOUSLY missing out!
The good news is that I'm going to teach you how to have one tonight!
Lucid Dreams are EXTREMELY powerful and you can use them for anything from recreation to getting over lifelong fears. If you are interested in learning more, then I HIGHLY recommend "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge. It is the Bible of Lucid Dreaming. Check it out on Amazon.
What's amazing is that to your brain, experiencing something in a dream is EXACTLY the same as experiencing it in real life! So when you fly in a lucid dream, I promise it will feel even more incredible than anything you can imagine. Just put your hands up like Superman and up, up, and away!
Week 2 starts with a short video series about Business.
Every business needs a website and in my opinion, .com is the only way to go. If you have your own business or are thinking of starting one, then I recommend going with GoDaddy for your website. Not because it's the best, but because it's the best deal for the budget conscious.
No, I don't work for GoDaddy, but I did build a bunch of sites for clients on there and I also built my original Site using the Website Builder we are going to use tomorrow.
Check out the video and see how $12 gets you a .com, a pre-designed site, and your own custom email address for ONE YEAR. Wowzers! (Man, it sounds like I work for them.)
Today we pick up where we left off with the GoDaddy registration and we'll actually build your website.
Everything is pretty straight forward here, but I will admit that it will require just a bit of patience depending on how complex you want your site to be. I suggest keeping it simple and stick to the BARE ESSENTIALS (video on the homepage, swap the pictures and text), since there are a few bugs in the Website Builder. All in all, you just can't beat the $12 deal (once again, I don't work for the company)!
I find that visual metaphors are a great way to get a point across, so once again, I am narrating today's video.
If you've already seen it, then I suggest watching it again since goals & habits are constantly changing.
Once you're finished watching, I'd like you to take this short survey to rate your current habits: YOU CAN FIND IT HERE. This will help create Awareness, which is an essential part of forming new and productive habits.
I hope you're enjoying Week #2 so far. There are SO many cool things on the way.
Today's video is all about raising the stakes!
Once again, I'd like you to take a short survey to reflect on Øwnership. CLICK HERE TO TAKE THE SURVEY
Closing out the H.Ø.W. Series is a video about Passion.
From time to time, we can lose our Passion and what's the point of life without that burning fire inside? Hopefully this video will help you discover (or rediscover) your Passion.
Once you finish watching, please fill out this last survey. It will ignite you for sure. Really get you fired up! Check it out here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/G7DJJV5
Finally, to thank you for sticking with the Series, I've included my FREE Report: "H.Ø.W. To Achieve ANY Goal In 3 Simple Steps". This will review some of the most important points from the Series, go over some new ones, and help ensure that the H.Ø.W. Method really sticks. DOWNLOAD IT HERE
Since learning relies on efficient brain function, and efficient brain function relies on exercise, today's Module is all about Physical Fitness.

If you're like me, then you love to read, but with so much information available, it can seem like we can never keep up. That's why today, I'd like to focus on some of the best digital tools that I've found for increasing reading speed.
Here are the Apps/Websites in the video:
iPhone - Acceleread
Android - Speed Reading Trainer
Web - Spreeder
- Reasy
Today we'll take the RSVP concept further with some of the most cutting edge technology in Speed Reading.
Here are the Apps mentioned in the video:
iPhone - Skim
Android - Speed Reader Spritz like
Web - OpenSpritz
Coming soon - Spritz
So now that you know all about RSVP, choose your favourite method and start training!
Today we are going to apply 4 Speed Reading techniques to good ol' Paperback books. I've tested all 4 myself and I am reading MUCH faster now. I hope you get as much out of them as I did.
Congratulations! You are now Halfway through the Course. There's a lot of really cool stuff coming up and I'm really excited to share it all with you. In the meantime, I would appreciate if you complete the following quick survey to share your feedback on the Course so far. Click HERE for the Survey.
This one is wacky, but wow is it ever effective!
Make sure to practice your FOLDS, TAPS, BENDS, and SPLITS every day and you will notice a dramatic change in finger strength and ability. This is also a way to prevent RSI's like Carpal Tunnel and Tendonitis.
Here is the link to my friend Dr. Zac's product Handmaster Plus. Between this one and the Finger Fitness program, you will have hands of steel!
If you're like me, then you've been desperately searching for that extra hour in the day. Well, today I will show you some of the ways how to get more work/studying/learning done in a day.
I remember when I first got these exercises. They GUARANTEED that with daily practice I would go from my pitiful 25 second breath hold (30 seconds is the average) to 2 minutes and beyond! Now I'm here to show you it's possible!
Here are the 4 Exercises:
1) Hissing (Slow Release) - the slower the better
2) Quick Release & Continued Exhales - the fewer the better
3) Holding Your Breath (with air in your lungs)
4) Holding Your Breath (with NO air in your lungs)
So grab a timer, mark down your times, and send them my way so we can see how much you've improved over the weeks.
When it comes to daily practice, we can become master procrastinators. "I'll do it after I wake up", "I'll do it after work", "I'll do it after I watch this new cat video on YouTube". One of the only ways that I know to GUARANTEE daily practice is to use The Pillow Trick.
Now that you've had a chance to practice the Breathing Exercises for a couple of days, I'd like to add on the remaining exercises to make a complete Breathing Workout. Practice these daily and you will have yourself a voice of steel!
Here are the 5 Exercises:
1) Counting from 1-10 - over and over on one breath
2) Saying the Alphabet A-Z - over and over on one breath
3) Sustaining a Note from 1-10 - over and over on one breath
4) Sustaining a Note from A-Z - over and over on one breath
5) Hold Any Note For 30 Seconds - with the sound "ay" (like "play")
So grab a timer, mark down your times, and send them my way so we can see how much you've improved over the weeks.
I have a confession to make. Up until a month ago, I completely sucked at drawing. Like, really bad. Then I watched a video that promised I will be able to draw a face in one hour. Too good to be true, right? Well, wait until you see my Before and After drawings. Yikes!
These lessons were taken from a video series called "Yes, You Can...Draw!" on YouTube, which is now my go-to video for drawing faces. Try it out for yourself and see what you can do in one hour.
I'm going to tell you a secret: ANYONE can develop a SuperMemory! Sure, some people may have a headstart, but with a good method, you can learn how to pave the way to your own SuperMemory in very little time.
As a bonus, I'll also teach you how to speak Japanese! ;)
Is your knee still itchy? We're going to continue with P.A.V.E.R.S. today and show you how to Escape, Review, and Sleep.
Aaaaand just in case you didn't download them the first time, here are the Sleep MP3s again:
Now that you have the structure of a Study Session, I want to introduce you to the final element: The P.A.V.E.R.S. Association.
Tomorrow we'll start to apply these concepts to Languages.
Ever wanted to learn a language but were so bored or overwhelmed with the rules that you just gave up? Well worry no more because these 12 sentences will build a solid foundation and get you started ASAP. This example is in Spanish, but it also applies to ANY language.
I want to thank Tim Ferriss for these sentences. I've made one change to his list to reflect past tense (we love to talk about what we did), but the rest is fantastic. The words in brackets are just extra info if you need it. Just focus on the sentences and you'll have that skeleton in no time!
1. The apple is red. (Present)
2. It is John's apple. (Possessive)
3. I give John the apple.
4. We give him the apple.
5. He gives it to John. (VERY important to understand how to use "it" in a language)
6. She gives it to him.
7. Is the apple red? (Adjective placement)
8. The apples are red. (Plural)
9. I want to give it to her. (Objects + Prepositions)
10. I'm going to know tomorrow. (Future)
11. I can't eat the apple. (Negation)
12. I ate the apple. (Past)
Pretty easy, huh? Tomorrow we'll get into learning THOUSANDS of words with the Vocabulary Booster.
Today I'm going to show you how to learn THOUSANDS of words in your target language with this awesome Vocabulary Booster.
There are many resources online with lists of Cognates. Just search your language + cognates and a bunch will come up ("French cognates"). I should note that there are FALSE COGNATES that resemble English words, but mean completely different things. These evil twins can be easily avoided by memorizing the exception with P.A.V.E.R.S.
Also, if Spanish is your target language, then I highly recommend "Madrigal's Magic Key To Spanish", which outlines these twins in depth.
Tomorrow I will show you a trick to easily sound like a native speaker.
Today I'm going to show you One Simple Trick to sound like a native speaker in your target language.
In the video I use Spanish and Italian as an example, but the trick can apply to any language you may be studying.
The Course will conclude with one of my favourite puzzles and the best selling toy of all time: The Rubik's Cube. I'm going to show you how to solve this mother of a puzzle layer by layer. Today we'll solve the First Layer.
Solving the cube does wonders for your Spatial Awareness (visualization) as well as your Memory (the upcoming algorithms). I recommend that you practice solving the First Layer a few times before moving onto the next. This will ensure that if and when you make a mistake on the second and third layer, you will have a solid foundation to build on and not get flustered.
As an extra reference, I've included some helpful steps from YouCanDoTheCube.
How did it go? Not as difficult as you once thought? Today I'm going to show you how to solve the Second Layer.
I like this lesson a lot because there is both a built-in Review (which will reinforce the previous lesson) and we also get to exercise our imagination.
You've made it to Day 30! On the final day of "30 in 30", we are going to complete your first Rubik's Cube solve. Grab a cup of coffee, a pen, and paper and let's finish this thing!
Hopefully you can see how not only is the solve attainable, but there are many different memory devices you can use to get there. Have fun with it and please let me know if you get stuck or come up with some cool tricks of your own.
