This course consists of the following standing postures:
1) Taadasana (Standing tree posture)
2) Parsvakonasana(Side Bending Posture)
3)Hasthapaadasana(Hand to Foot Posture)
4)Uthkatasana(Sitting on the Toes while standing)
6)Ekapaadasana(Standing on one leg-Namaskaar posture)
7)Agnisaara(Mock inhalation - abdominal strokes)
8)Nauli(Abdominal Movements: left and right)
9)Savaasana(Total Relaxation Posture)
Standing Postures help stretch the entire spine and loosen it, helping to clear up congestion of the spinal nerves at the points where they emerge from the spinal column. They stretch the rectus abdominal muscles and the intestines. These especially massage , loosen and exercise sides of the waist. It balances right and left groups of postural muscles.
