  • No specific skillset if necessary prior to taking the course. Students just need to know how to use a regular search engine such as Google or Bing, create, edit and save text or document files, and knowing how to create, edit, and save spreadsheets for very basic tasks can be useful but is not mandatory.

Course Updated on 2015/08/25.

This course will show you how to approach language learning the right way, from understanding grammatical ground rules to acquiring vocabulary and being able to actually use the language in real life situations. It doesn't teach you a specific language, but rather explains how to master any language at daily conversation level in weeks instead of years.

In this course, I will show you how to memorize vocabulary quickly, and how to select what to learn and what to dismiss. I will reveal to you the core structures you need to master to kickstart your initial understanding of the new language you are dealing with. I will show you how to take years of language experience and acquire them in just weeks, so quickly in fact that you will be speaking in your new language after just a couple of weeks of practice.

After a few weeks, you will be able to understand people speaking, and most of what they're saying, and after just a few months, you will have mastered the core components and will be able to hold a conversation naturally. I did this for english, I did this for japanese, I did this for spanish, and I was able to communicate after just a few short weeks in those languages, while my friends were usually still stuck with a few words.

The course is taught in English, includes 29 lectures for over 100 minutes of video tuition, PDF Files for reference, presentations, and quizzes.

The course is updated and upgraded on a regular basis.

In this course I show you how I do it, and how you can too....

Who is the target audience?
  • This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn at least one new language to reach conversational fluency in the next 6 months.
  • Business people would be an obvious audience, regular travellers, as well and people who want to travel to foreign countries and not depend on their native language and/or want to actually get in contact with native people from all over the world.
  • Foreign litterature students are not the target audience for this course, although they also can benefit from the content to improve their retention rate for vocabulary for example.
  • This course is designed with "speaking skills" in mind, not writing skills. Oral fluency and freedom is the goal.

To master any language, a very basic set of 12 core concepts is what you need to master first. You will also learn your first few words with these. Start here and your journey will be a much more pleasant one. Then, understand just one more tiny concept to unlock a much greater command of the new language you are learning. 12 + 1 = Lucky 13...

The essence of languages : 13 core concepts to rule them all.

Many methods give you vocabulary to learn in a totally random way. You can add method to the madness by selecting vocabulary that is the most useful in any language, and even in the language you just started learning. It's easy to find out which words are the most useful without resorting to learning the dictionnary. This lecture explains how to.

Vocabulary : what to learn and what to leave out.

The best way to learn any language is to expose yourself to it as much as possible. Books are a great way to immerse yourself in the language, and while you may think it's way too early to do it, in this lecture I will show you how to start reading books in the new language from week one !

Pick up a book and get ahead of the pack.

Many languages have a very specific counting system and mastering it could be more difficult than you anticipate. The sooner you start to learn it, the sooner you can master it.

Learn to count ! It's not as easy as you think so better get to it soon !

Use modern tools to organize better and soar !

...and that includes being able to talk to anyone, at any given time. It's really easy to find someone who will spend time teaching you his mother tongue in exchange for lessons in yours.

It's a world wide web. Take advantage of every positive thing it offers...

How do you test your new super power ? Challenge yourself with the ultimate test !

Experience real life usage of your new speaking abilities.

What can music teach you about languages ? A lot ! You want to improve twice as fast as anyone else ? Follow the advice in this lecture.

Listen to the music !

... but it can be a pretty useful one. Short of complete immersion in a country, watching TV is your second best option for exposure to a new language. Don't pick just any program though... Here's my recommended picks to improve fast.

TV is just a Medium !
Week by Week System.

Do you want to build up your confidence levels and achieve more of what you want ?

I can show you how to do exactly that, and more.

Do you want to learn foreign languages in record short time ?

If I was able to do it over 20 years ago with no internet and no digital recording, you can do it as well, especially in this day and age, and for dirt cheap... I'll show you how to write, track, produce, release and market your music for almost no money and be successful... The tools are here, it's up to you...

My Udemy courses can help you reach your goals, and I would be honored to have you as a student.

My Experience :

Martial Arts & Self-Defense

I have been teaching Martial Arts and Self-Defense for the past 20 years, starting my personal journey in 1977, at the age of 4. I received my ranks and teaching licence in the system I teach, directly in Japan from the GrandMaster. My students come from all walks of life, a lot of them are security or combat professionals.

Personal Development

I have studied meditation through the practice of Musô Sesshin, a directed meditation method inherited from Shingon Buddhism. This practice, also known as full consciousness meditation, obviously helps create a peaceful mindset, as well as a highly targeted, purpose driven, mind. It is also a wonderful way to enhance any confidence building method. It's THE key to everything else. It helps with confidence, learning potential, communication skills, mastery of fears, any kind of strategy driven project... I'll share everything there is to know about this so you too can leverage your untapped power.

Online Marketing

I have created several courses ( in french ) to help musicians and entrepreneurs reach a larger audience and make a living as professional musicians and teachers. These courses include topics such as list building techniques, mindset management, pedagogy, communication skills, website design, SEO, using Social Media for marketing, and many more topics, and have helped hundreds of musicians create a business from scratch.

I have been a musician since my early teenage years, learning guitar, vocal technique, bass, recording, production, midi programming and mixing, I turned pro at 19 and music has been my main "job" for the last 25 years, as a teacher, performer, recording artist and session musician. I created dozens of courses on how to learn guitar, harmony, integrated practice and more... It is through being a musician that I learned how to learn faster and more effectively, how to communicate, how to market products or services. I plan on teaching a lot of music related courses on Udemy as well as every other topic I had the pleasure of learning in depth along the last 40+ years.
