Changing the Background
Cristian Doru Barin, been in the web design business for 5+ years. I started out by making complete websites (meaning I designed and coded them as well), but then I found out about other ways I could earn a living through web design.
From that point, I started learning Photoshop so I could focus only on the design aspect and I left the difficult part (the coding) to other people who specialize in that area. Despite what you might initially think, it is much more profitable and less stressful. How much did I study? A lot. I mean a lot!
Then I practiced and found out what were the best ways of achieving certain effects. I would usually make 5-7 homepage designs per day in around 12-14 hours. That's a lot of work by any standards.
Now things have changed. I am fast, efficient and know the best ways of creating stunning website designs in no time. I choose how much money I want to make by selecting more or less projects to work on.
I am also an entrepreneur: I started my first business at 18 and quickly expanded it. I have multiple online businesses: an online shop, a web design business, app creation studio for Android devices; plus more in the making.
Having all these, I still made over $50,000 by working mostly part time in Photoshop. Learn from my experience and cut down the time it takes to start earning a living from Photoshop.

Photoshop is magic. It gives photographers and other creatives the power to edit and manipulate pictures with quick clicks. Most do not realize that many of these Photoshop tools are rooted in the handmade tradition and craft of photography. The magic of Photoshop is only fully appreciated when one contrasts the ease of clicking Photoshop tools to what would be required to manipulate a physical print in a darkroom.
