This course covers attacking chess motifs such as defence annihilation, decoying, distraction, discovered attack and pursuit. I will demonstrate not only the concept of these tactical chess maneuvers but also the logic behind finding these moves in your own chess games. This course is broken down into 5 sections (one for each motif). In each section you will find 3-4 tutorials analysing different chess puzzles (the difficulty of the positions analysed in these puzzles increases as you go along). Also each section contains an analysis of a game played between two chess grand masters to demonstrate how effective these tactical manoeuvres can be and finally we prepared quizzes for you to practise and the end of each section.

Chess Strategies Expert

Hey there!

My name is Mark Eremenko and I am a Civil Engineer working in Australia. In my free time I really enjoy playing and (believe it or not!) studying chess!

I have been playing this game for as long as I can remember. To me Chess is not only about moving pieces, but it's actually much more than that - I like finding hidden strategies and tactical maneuvers that allow you to gain material advantage or simply win the game.

Also, I enjoy analysing games of grand masters such as Michael Tal, Garry Kasparov, Bobby Fischer, and others. I find it incredible how in a game with finite move possibilities they always seem to invent new variations of how to gain an advantage over their opponents and that is just incredible.

I am very passionate about Chess and can't wait to share my passion and knowledge with you!

Let's get playing :)

Commodity Market Analyst & Option Trader

My name is Viktor Neustroev and I am a trader.

Since 2003 I have been trading financial markets starting with FOREX and then broadening horizons to commodity markets. Trading is all my life, but it really became a passion when I started trading options. Trading financial markets gives people what they really want - financial independence.

I am also a chessplayer and a chess coach for my daughter (you can find my name in FIDE rating list). Why I like financial markets? Because it's like chess, when you know the rules, but you don't need to play against the market. Just follow your plan, again and again!

To sum up, I am here to share my trading experience. I believe that everyone wants to leave a trace in history and I see my mission in teaching and making people's life better.

Data Scientist & Forex Systems Expert

My name is Kirill Eremenko and I am super-psyched that you are reading this!

I teach courses in two distinct Business areas on Udemy: Data Science and Forex Trading. I want you to be confident that I can deliver the best training there is, so below is some of my background in both these fields.

Data Science

Professionally, I am a Data Science management consultant with over five years of experience in finance, retail, transport and other industries. I was trained by the best analytics mentors at Deloitte Australia and today I leverage Big Data to drive business strategy, revamp customer experience and revolutionize existing operational processes.

From my courses you will straight away notice how I combine my real-life experience and academic background in Physics and Mathematics to deliver professional step-by-step coaching in the space of Data Science. I am also passionate about public speaking, and regularly present on Big Data at leading Australian universities and industry events.

Forex Trading

Since 2007 I have been actively involved in the Forex market as a trader as well as running programming courses in MQL4. Forex trading is something I really enjoy, because the Forex market can give you financial, and more importantly - personal freedom.

In my other life I am a Data Scientist - I study numbers to analyze patterns in business processes and human behaviour... Sound familiar? Yep! Coincidentally, I am a big fan of Algorithmic Trading :) EAs, Forex Robots, Indicators, Scripts, MQL4, even java programming for Forex - Love It All!

To sum up, I am absolutely and utterly passionate about both Data Science and Forex Trading and I am looking forward to sharing my passion and knowledge with you!
