What will I learn?

In this course you will learn efficient, clean and time saving modelling techniques as you advance through the course creating a Lego minifigure.

You will learn how to build up 3D forms using boolean techniques cleanly and maintaining correct edge flow by using 3DS Max's quad chamfer modifier and essential poly modelling techniques to get a finished production / portfolio piece.

We will start off by setting up shortcuts and modifier sets to aid us during the course to make the whole process quicker and more enjoyable.

Once we have customised our UI we will progress on to creating each element of the Lego minifigure.

The course is structured to give you experience on various 3D forms of varying complexity where a fully modelled Lego minifigure is our end objective. For each element we will be going through the whole process step by step together.

By the end of the course you will be able to model a wide range of complex forms methodically and cleanly using 3DS Max.

The methods and techniques you learn from this course will give you the experience, competence and confidence to advance and improve your own work.

As we progress through the course you will learn an organised and methodical process of modelling hard surface objects.

What you learn in this course you will be able to apply to your own work allowing you to create more complex and cleaner models.

I hope you enjoy the course.
