This new August 2016 course is being offered at a time when most of the law students around the world are going to start their new academic year.

The course has been designed in such a way that even if you are completely new to the law of torts you will be able to grasp its concepts and feel highly confident in analysing and applying the law of torts on related problems.

If you are currently undertaking or about to undertake undergraduate law course, this course is for you.  The undergraduate courses include, among others, LLB in any Common Law jurisdiction anywhere in the world, LLB under University of London International Programme, Graduate Diploma in Law and Common Professional Examination.   Non-law students can also get a taste of what it is like studying the law subjects and what do you expect to learn in a law degree.

The course is designed by Tufail Hussain.  Tufail Hussain is a Barrister and holds LL.B. (Hons) and LL.M in Corporate and Business Law.  Tufail Hussain is also a winner of 2009 University of Law Birmingham (UK) Annual Students’ Advocacy Competition.  Tufail holds a strong passion for teaching and tutoring and has tutored law students for over 5 years.  He also holds a certificate in delivering learning from the UK.  Tufail Hussain practises in commercial areas of law and his practice also encompasses practice in the areas of law of tort and compensation.

Each and every topic has been explained in light of the examples and case illustrations which will help you understand how courts apply the law in different cases and how the court’s mind works.  This will not only keep the study of this course interesting and engaging but also gives a sound foundation of the law of torts at this early stage of your legal career.

You will note that the subject of ‘Negligence’ (carelessness in ordinary language) holds a centre stage in the law of torts.  This course dedicates complete six sections to discuss each element of the tort of Negligence separately and in easily digestible chunks.
