|Section 1: First Things First|
Really successful people move forward and do not remain stuck, repeating the same mistakes over and over again. They have fixed and maintain their life focus. In the dynamic world we live in today, there is so much going on and so much craving for our attention. The acute loss of focus on the most important things leaves many burnt-out and frustrated or confused about how to consistently build a meaningful life.
It's A Journey:
Prioritizing and time management can be tricky if we do not understand a few principles first. Good ideas can many times be the problem and are harder to deal with. Students will be provided with examples from the life of Milton and Henry Hershey as well as a simple system for weeding out distractions and sharpening their focus.
Distractions can come as good or bad distractions. Both are however going to hinder your focus. Remember there will always be more good ideas than capacity to execute. We need to learn to say no tothe good ideas as well.
Students will be shown how focus and realization of important life goals is largely dependent on mindsets and mental models from our past. Your focus is your philosophy and will ultimately determine your successes and failures. Limiting past mental models and mindsets cause disillusionment, fear, discouragement, giving up and other things which affect what our life focus should be. Students will be shown how to begin to deal with any such limitations and clarify their life focus and core design. They are also provided with references to resources that will help them walk completely free.
|Section 2: Growth Environments & Systems for Linking Daily Life to Life Goals|
Students will be able to identify and cultivate growth environments in their personal and professional lives. They will be provided with steps on how to move away from wrong environments and how this will improve their focus on important and life goals.
This is the grand finale of the course and what puts the focus principles together. By this lecture, students are reminded that they should already have been able to determine what their life goals or most important goals are. These goals are then put within the provided system or framework. They will be provided with a simple system that can match any daily schedule or profession that will connect their daily activities and the most important goals or life goals they have. This system will also help students keep a sharp focus and reduce chances of failure.

My name is Ubong Ekpo and my life revolves around being a great husband, father and mentor. I'm married to my best friend and we have a wonderful daughter.
Three main themes or channels for my giftings to flow to the world are : writing, speaking and growing people and teams. The third I do through training sessions.
About 8 years ago, I discovered what I was really good at, my calling and giftings in life.
The funny thing is they had always been there from childhood as with all of us. Many times, past experiences and environments cause people to lose touch with their original design. One of my favorite sayings is : "if you can't see a future, you won't have a future" and I have been privileged to train and consult hundreds of people across Europe, Africa and the US on areas of growth and personal development. This passion of mine resulted in my first book on Amazon titled: "The A.R.T of Motivation: Success in Life by Rediscovering your core design" and I've been at it since.
Growing vision, clarifying purpose, aligning systems and developing people are what I help teams with and I am excited about learning and creating enjoyable, adaptive and effective learning systems, whether informational or performance-based.
Having served in Training Manager and Learning consultant roles since 2009, I possess a rich background in Instructional Design, Personal and Corporate learning
