Layers are how we create images and impact. Similar to PhotoShop each object placed on a slide is placed on top of the previous one. Using layers we can create some truly impressive images that we can cal our own. This is the basic concept of a vector graphic in so far as we make images by layering shapes.
Flips are yet another way of increasing our workflow by reusing images as mirrors for things like arms, legs and even ensuring our images have perfect symmetry should we desire.
