Welcome to Japanese Vegetarian Cooking by Tsubaki Cookery!
In this course you will learn how to make main dishes, side dishes and desserts. This course contains 8 recipes where I will show you step by step how to make the dishes. I will tell you about the ingredients that we are using and how you can substitute them if you can’t find them. I will also give you tips and ideas on how to make variations of the dishes or how to adjust it to different kind of diets. There is a PDF file with information about the dishes and the recipes that you can download to follow the videos.
The main focus is vegetarian healthy food but of course you don’t need to be vegetarian to join!
This course is mainly for those of you who are new to Japanese food. After the completed course you will have new dishes to impress your friends and family with.

In this lesson you will learn how to make dashi (soup stock) and miso soup; one of the most essential parts of a Japanese meal. I will introduce the ingredients and their nutritional benefits. After that I will show you how to make miso soup and tell you about different variations and alterations.
This side dish has just a few ingredients. Its main ingredient is the seaweed called hijiki. In this lesson you will learn how to make this nutritious dish and I will talk about the benefits of Hijiki. I will also let you know what other seaweed you can replace it with.
In this lesson you will learn how to make sushi rice and inarizushi. I will let you know which different fillings you can use. This sushi is very tasty and you will find out how to make it by yourself!
