This course will teach you how to paint beautiful painting on your iPad with ArtStudio. The course includes step by step videos explaining the layout of the ArtStudio and creating a painting of a tropical fish aquarium. Through out the course you will learn all the features and how to apply them to your painting. You will learn how to use layers, create your own brushes, transform layers, and detail painting. All you need is an iPad and the ArtStudio iPad app in iTunes. Once you finish this course you will be able to paint anywhere anytime with your iPad. It's the new canvas for artists. The course is 2 hours, however I would take the time and just relax and have fun. As a professional artist I know the more you paint you will feel positive with your results. Once you start painting with the iPad it will open your eyes to a new world.

This is the first video of the aquarium. I will be demonstrating step by step the blocking in stage and using layers in this video. I will be adding the water, gravel and plants on different layers. I will be using simple shapes in the beginning and in later videos will be adding detail.

In this video I will be using a lot of different brushes to create realistic plants in the aquarium. I will also show you how to shade in the paints with color values.
In this video I will finish painting the aquarium plants and transforming the layers. I will be showing you have to transform the plants and move scale and rotate on different layers.
In this video I will be using the dodge and burn tool and transforming all the plants.The dodge and burn tool will become one of your favorite tools. It a great way to get a three dimensional look to your paintings.
In this video I will be painting in the rocks with various brushes on different layers. I will be using light and dark values to paint in the rocks.
In this Video I will block in and paint the angelfish. You will see how easy it is to paint an angle fish by simple shapes and then using different brushes to add the detail.
In This Video I will finishing painting in the detail of the angelfish and using the airbrush in the eraser mode to create transparanty in the fins. Using the eraser comes in handy using any brush and controlling the opacity of the brush.
In This Video I will be coping the angelfish and painting in the fancy guppies. You will learn how to copy and paste and add more layers.
I will be finishing the guppy and copy the layer and moving the fish around the aquarium. You will learn how easy it is to work with layers and changing the sizes of you fish.
I will be transforming layers and adding some plants in the background. You will see how easy it is to change your painting by moving and copying your plants on different layers.
Adding a new background and showing you how to save and export your painting. I will show you the gradient tool which can give your paint a dramatic affect.
