This meditation will introduce you to preparation of meditation. How to be comfortable is for everyone different. I want to make sure you don't feel like you're in prison during meditation. I want you to enjoy and have fun. Of course challenging yourself a little bit is never wrong.
Awareness is understanding. There's a lot happening in your life and I was shocked when i found out that many decisions are made by what i call my "automatic pilot." I wanted to take back control and that's why i had to raise my awareness of the unconscious decisions and behaviour of mine.
Having a focus point helps to keep your mind focused, instead of flying off to who knows where. Many meditations use different kinds of focus points and I introduce you to several in this course.
Why is it important to ground yourself? With meditation you are trying to calm the mind, so it won't be able to distract you. By grounding yourself you will be more connected with the earth keeping your mind here instead of flying off to all kinds of thoughts, worries, fantasies and so on.
In this video exercise JJ explains how to ground yourself with an easy practice you can do anywhere.
After you're comfortable you use the body as a focus point to keep your mind focused in the now.
In this meditation JJ will guide you keeping you focused on your body.
How to observe your body, your mind and all things around you as a witness. Learning with each practice how to do this without judgment. Building experience to deflect resistance in any shape or form and enjoy longer comfortable calm moments each time you meditate.
After getting comfortable and the focus on the body, it's time to go within and the best portal to do that is to use the breath as the next focus point.

Resistance in each shape or form will knock on your door, when you're about to implement change.
What do we mean by "freedom of mind"?
After focusing on the breath you can go a step further by using the focus point in this guided meditation. You'll create a space that is known as the point of silence.
Another focus point to use in meditations is using a mantra.
"So Hum" is one of the most populair mantras that i know have been used in meditations. It's Sanskrit for "I am That."
The law of attraction says your thoughts attract what you think! With visualisation you can influence your thoughts. In this video I'll tell you all about my journey and how visualisation was of high influence when I started my meditation practice.
This is a beautiful sound you can listen to during a visualisation. Focus on your third eye, explore and dare to be adventurous.
