We are going to discuss different Speed-Time Curves including the Quadrilateral and the Trapezoidal also different Types of Services , we will discuss also the mechanism of train movement , the Tractive force and the adhesive weight for the locomotive of train.

We will discuss the derivation of the Tractive force and we will use it to get the output power of train and the energy required to drive the Train in different Speed-Time Curves.

Finally we will solve Examples on the Theoretical part.
