Intro to Photography and Photoshop 101 is a thorough course for anyone wanting to learn how to use their camera and edit photographs. If you have a point and shoot camera or a more professional DSLR, our goal is to help you get out of Auto Mode and start creating the images you see in your head.
This course covers everything from how cameras work, how to correctly set your exposure using ISO, Aperture, and Shutter, what White Balance is and how to use it, how to use filters and tripods, using and understanding flash, and how to create professional, blurry free images of fast moving subjects.
Towards the end of the course we also walk you through some of the most basic image editing techniques in Photoshop so that you can fix skin blemishes, correct color problems, enhance overall dynamic range and contrast, and even liquify people so that you can make your images look exactly as you want them.
This lesson is an introduction to your DSLR camera.
