WAMPServer is a Windows web development environment. WAMP means (Windows Apache MySQL PHP ).

It allows you to create web applications with Apache2, PHP and a MySQL database. Alongside, PhpMyAdmin allows you to manage easily your databases.

WAMPServer is available for free (under GPML license) in two distinct versions : 32 and 64 bits. However, The version of WAMPServer that we are going to use for this course is version 2.2e (2.2.22)
