I personally don't agree with the follow for follow back strategy and think it makes your brand look cheap. It says to me you only have followers because you followed other people and don't have a legitimate brand.


Liking, commenting and engaging with similar music or brands to yours is a great way to introduce yourself to potential fans.


Using hashtags in all your photos & videos is super important to get more organic reach.


Create a note on your phone that has all the hashtags you want for the majority of your posts to save you time.


Take advantage of Instagrams 30 maximum hashtag limit on every post so you can free targeted traffic.


Linking your Instagram account to Facebook, Twitter can save you a ton of time so your not posting to each social media account separately.

What website domain should you put in your bio & when to update it

Contests encouraging people to repost your picture by doing a screen capture with their phone and reposting on their page with a certain hashtag is a great way to encourage engagement. See if you can get them to post on their other social medias as well and you will pick a winner.

Videos tend to get fewer likes then photos but are still a powerful way to engage with your audience. The cover photo of your video is super important. You can't slack off here just because it's a video. Also make sure you shoot videos with your phoned turned horizantal.

Adding a website to your bio so you can direct people to your video, product, music video etc is super important and should be updated periodically.

Using bots or 3rd party apps is a great way to get banned or kicked off Instagram


Make sure you don't over post I think 3-4 times a day is the maximum and spread out as well with 3-4 hours in between each post.
