I've always been a person with many passions... or should I call them obsessions? I love acquiring new skills so when something authentically intrigues me I dive head first into learning everything I can about the topic. The art of poi spinning first sparked my interest when I kept seeing people do it at music festivals (another obsession of mine). They weren't professional performers. They were just normal people in the crowd, but they had a unique skill that drew my attention away from the famous musicians on stage. I decided that I had to try it for myself. I instantly fell in love with the fun and flow of poi and became a true poi enthusiast! Now I spin poi, make poi, sell poi, and teach poi to anyone willing to learn. If you are willing, I'd love to teach you too!
