Section 1: Introduction

In this video l'll be showing the sequences needed in order to solve the cube, practice them until you can perform them without looking and fluidly.

The speed in which you'll be able to perform these sequences will determine your solving speed so thrain them frequently untill they become second nature.

Section 2: The First Layer

The first step of solving the Rubik's cube is the Cross. In this video l go over what it takes to accomplish this task. L will be using the white face as my first Layer so that you may follow along and that you may familiarize yourself with the colors.

This is the Second part of the cross. At the end of the video, there will be some example solves in order to train what you have learned. don't be afraid to scramble the cube, it will make what you have learned stick like glue.

Some cases are harder than others, so l have made a special video for them. In case you encounter them don't panic, just come and watch this video.

Once the Cross is complete we must solve the corners with white color in order for the First Layer to be completely solved

Second part of solving the first layer corners, Practice is the only thing that will make solving easier and faster so after celebrating the fact that you have solved the First layer, scramble the cube and solve it again.

Section 3: The Middle Layer

For the middle Layer we only have to solve theedges that fit between the centers, there are only four of them and they are easily recognizable because they are the only edges which don't have a yellow color on them.

Last step in order to solve the First two layers, after this take a deep breath and 5 minutes of a well deserved rest, you are halfway there.

Section 4: The Last Layer

After the middle Layer, we now have to solve a second cross, but this time on the Top Layer. To accomplish this we will use the sequences learned in the introduction video

Orienting the Last Layer corners. There are seven different cases which can all be solved using the sequences showed in the introduction video.

The sune case looks like a fish, it has a lefty inverse so be careful and don't confuse the two.

The cameleon case has two ears that you put on the left before performing the sequences needed.

The headlights case has two headlights that you direct towards the left before performing the sequences needed.

The double headlight case has two double headlights which must be facing you before execution of the solving sequence of moves.

Now That the corners are oriented, we must finish solving them by permuting them in their right place, for this we will only need the Third sequence shown in the introduction video, sol l hope you practiced it and can now perform it flawlessly.

The last step before finishing the cube. After this you will deserve a rest and please share your challenges during the course by leaving a review.

Section 5: Going Further

A review of all that has been learned.

There are official competition on solving the Rubik's cube and for these competitions to go well, there is a standard notation used so that competitors may compare scrambles. This video will teach you how to use the official notation, this knowledge will be useful in a further video.

P.S: the notation is intuitive and easy to learn

This is a video going through all the steps learned in this course. Follow along and see if what you have learned is still fresh in your mind.
