How To Produce House Music

Do you want to create real House Music? Do you want achieve a professional sound that really works on the dance-floor? Do you want to know all the techniques necessary to develop a simple idea into a finished arrangement? Do you want your final master to sound as good as the music released by established House labels?

What this course is about:

This video course is designed to help you understand the techniques, concepts and practices behind professional House Music making. In the 35 videos you will learn how to create a track from scratch. We begin with building the beat on a vintage Roland TR-909 and sampling it back into the system.

I then demonstrate how to build all of the elements of the track: bass, synthesisers, sequencer, riff, pad and vocal samples. Everything you would need to know to flesh out your own arrangement!

In the course I use a variety of instruments and plugins including Maschine, the Yamaha Reface CS and MOXF6, Prophet 08, Arp Odyssey, NI Massive and more. Although quite a few different instruments are used on these videos, the course focuses on the actual musical and creative aspect of the production process; so you'll be able apply the techniques explained to your own hardware or software.

You will then learn how to build the entire arrangement in Cubase - creating an intro, an outro, a breakdown and a drop. I show how to program all automation, adding effects and transition sounds to add the final sparkle, before finally mixing and finalising the track into a ready to release master.

When you enrol in the course you'll have access to all of the individual samples, loops, tracks and groove templates that we captured from the TR-909! In the package you'll also find the session's multi-track, both midi and audio, so you can practice your House production and mixing skills.

Don't wait, enroll in this course now!

When you enrol in this course, you will get lifetime access from computer or mobile, a direct line of contact with the Doctor Mix Team, a forum to share and discuss with other students and free future content updates.

Enrol now and... see you on the other side :-)
