This course considers the syllabus exactly as prescribed by the Open Group for the TOGAF® 9.1 Certification exams (OG091) and discusses the nature and type of questions, effective techniques to review and prepare for the Part 1 exam.

This course is structured as 8 videos providing instructions with plenty of examples and two practice tests covering Part 1 exam.

It has about 2 Hrs of Video content but you might need 2 - 3 Hrs more to complete the entire course including the Practice Tests.

This course is targeted at two types of audience in preparing for the certification exams:

  • Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects and Technical Architects who are preparing for both Part 1 examination.
  • Business Analysts, Project Managers, Business Managers and other professionals who are preparing for the Part 1 examination.

TOGAF® 9.1 is the global de-facto standard for Enterprise Architecture and is the product of The Open Group, an internationals standards organisation that develops open standards TOGAF® 9.1 Certifications awarded by The Open Group are the most popular and globally recognised professional certifications for Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Technical Architects. Attaining certification is usually by external examinations conducted by the Prometric organisation. These examinations can be very tough and require adequate preparation. While training courses and self study are paths available to participants, a certain amount of review of the TOGAF® 9.1 specification itself is necessary. Here is the catch. The TOGAF® 9.1 specification is a very lengthy and descriptive document and reviewing this document end to end may not be an option for many.

So what are the techniques for reviewing the essential parts of TOGAF® 9.1 specification? I have done considerable research into this and worked out the techniques that I recommend to my students who attend my face to face workshop sessions. As the Lead Trainer for iCMG International I have been conducting on an average 2 workshops every month since 2012 and have trained and mentored well over 600 CIOs,CTO;s, Enterprise, Solution and Technical Architects since 2009 in well over 70 courses globally. I used these same techniques to get certified in 2009 and since then have perfected them even further.

In conclusion, it is my wish to bring these techniques which helped my class room students to benefit the on-line community as well.
