What Will I Learn?
  • Why is it so hard to forgive? Maybe you are ready to forgive, but the one who offended you refuses to own up to their errors and apologize. But more importantly, this book shows how to overcome the hurdles. You will also learn how to forgive yourself for the sins you’ve committed against God and against others. You will realize that no sin is beyond pardon. This course will teach you how to forgive by taking practical steps – and it will teach you much more. Week # 1 We are afraid Our Offender is Getting Away With It
1 Lecture 19:47

We find it difficult to forgive because we think the person may be getting away with inflicting hurt upon us. This, however, could not be further from the truth.  You will learn in this lesson that just because we forgive does not mean that justice is no longer possible or that heaven has forgiven.  The misguided notion that forgiveness leads to the denial of justice is disbanded.  The lesson provides evidence of this idea.

Week # 2
1 Lecture 19:43

One of the reasons we do not want to forgive is the fact that we have to live with the aftermath of an offense. This lesson will show how not to dwell extensively on the consequences but instead on the God who can turn your situation around.  Other ways these negative situations can turn out well are explored. You will find yourself encouraged.

I cannot stop these immense feelings of regret that rush through me when I remember what I did. These are the questions addressed in this lesson.  You will learn to embrace God’s forgiveness, shake off the guilt, rejoice in the God of our salvation, and move on in life.

The book has become a classic book to help people who lose their loved ones.

After years of sharing her testimony of forgiveness, she released her first book on Forgiveness in 1998, titled, The Virtue of Forgiveness. In 2009, she released another book on the same subject, titled, Effective Forgiveness.
