That’s right you aim is to collect business cards.

Over the last number of years I have led two management buy ins to two companies, one in the Internet industry and one an advertising company. In the internet company I developed a management team and through developing new sales products and channels grew sales from under 3 million Euros to over 40 million Euros in a four year period. We sold the internet business to the largest telco in Ireland. In the advertising business over a three year period we won over 8 million in new business and managed accounts such as Ford, Suzuki, 4 Irish boards and the French government export wine business to name a few.

I have started a number of businesses and have experience leading an organization of 260 plus employees. In the eCommerce industry I brought Worldpay (now part of Barclays) into the Irish market, launched the first eCommerce online store, advised on the launch of the now leading insurance player in Ireland 123 and travel insurance provider getcover and worked with Virgin airlines on the marketing launch of their Dublin base .

As part of my role in management consulting I developed the relationship and managed the contacts and business plan to bring Top Gear, Taste of London (Dublin) and other high profile events into Ireland.

On the funding front I have raised over 10 million euro from private and public companies for investment into companies I managed. These included Davy’s stock brokers, Standard Life, 3I, Richard Nash mineral water and the IDA and other Irish and UK enterprise boards.

I launched Fiver Friday on the Joe Duffy show in 2012. The idea was to get people to start supporting small businesses again by simply having one day where they would spend an extra 5 euros in a local business. Also we wanted every small business in the country to do deals to get new & old customers back.

I have a master in business from Trinity College, Dublin.

Also I had my first novel, One Last Time published and I a now working on my second novel
