Instructor Biography

Michael MacDonald, MBChB, MRCP, MD, BSc, FESC. Cardiologist and Physician

I am a practising Cardiologist, originally from the UK but now working in Singapore. I have a busy clinical practice, and see patients with hypertension every day. I am very aware that doctors don't have the time to fully educate their patients about blood pressure. Most people don't even realise all the things that they can do to improve their blood pressure themselves.

I am passionate about helping people optimise and improve their health, with the minimum of effort, but with the maximum of health gains. There is too much "bad" information out there on the web. I want to correct that by providing health guidance that people can trust. I want to make heart health simple!

I also have a 1st class honours degree in medical science, post graduate diplomas in general internal medicine and am now a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. I obtained my Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training, in both cardiology and medicine in 2010. I have published original research in the field of cardiovascular medicine and continue to be involved in clinical research studies.
