Section 1: Punching Above Your Weight

I am excited about this month, it’s when you really start to challenge yourself on the Happenista Project It’s gonna be one of hell of a ride, so buckle up.

I reference Brene Brown in my video, she is one of my sheroes. Her talk on the power of vulnerability is spot on

The only thing that will get in the way of you punching above your weight is YOU. So see WorkSheet B1 for  some tips on how to avoid self-sabotage.

Her solo story performance inspired by stories from her life and family, Bound Feet Blues, showcased in London’s West End in Oct 2014 to 4+ Star reviews – “a truly fantastic performance” and “a powerful and empowering piece”. She also mentors creatives and others to discover their authentic confidence and grow as collaborative leaders.‘To Be a Woman is Fantastic Just as You Are’ says Yang-May, watch her inspiring video

Clare describes herself as Fearless, I don’t think many people can say that.

I am sure she has had to do quite a lot of work on herself in order to get to that place.

She has challenged you to help another woman, but I am guessing you may be already doing that as part of the Happenista Project.

If you’re not, start now. If you are, I think that now might be the time to start thinking about not just helping, but also collaborating.

Watch her video and rise to the challenge of being a Happenista by completing worksheet B6

Judy Goldberg is founder of Wondershift, she previously held senior executive roles at the Discovery Channel and Sony PicturesIn her video she shares how she conquered the fear of leaving the corporate world for her own entrepreneurial journey.

Section 3: Nourish yourself through learning and self-care

The focus of this month is YOU.

Not looking after yourself is a selfish act, because those who are relying on you won’t have you around if you don’t do it.

If it doesn’t come naturally to put yourself first, this month will teach you how.

If it does come naturally, just enjoy.

Please watch the video for an introduction

Your Challenge:

1. Schedule in time for You

2. Brainstorm some indulgent things you could do in your scheduled time

3. Choose one, and let us know what it is and when you are going to do it on the forum.

4. You can also complete the attached Self- Care assessment which helps you consider your well-being from 6 different perspectives.

In the first of three videos from Tim Bean of The Institute of Physique Management

Tim shares compelling information on why we must look after ourselves.

Tim is full of advice on Self Care

Do you agree that women are predisposed not to care for themselves?

Jackee Holder is a Coach, author and creator of paper therapy. Jackee’s focus is on Emotional Self Care, by that I mean:

  • Managing your emotions
