7 Lectures 01:07:32

A quick look at the projects and files we will use during the tutorials :)

Lets look at the files

In this lesson we jump straight in and set up our initial key.

Setting the initial key

Final tweaks to our key, we then use this as a trackmatt for our original imported footage.

Finishing the key and placing a backplate

Special effect in some cases can be quite complex how ever during this lesson I will show you how to use built in effect from after effects to create cool looking lightening.

Lightening creation

In order to make our Lightening follow our hand movements we need to use After Effects built in motion tracker, lets do it!

Built in Motion tracker

Lightening casts light so we need to think it would also cast light onto our subject, so lets do it!

Adding additional lighting

Lets finish off our tutorial and export out to quicktime format.

Well done for completing this lesson, lets move straight onto our next project.

After Effects has another program associated with it called Mocha we use this to track shape and positional data from footage we can then use this to accuratly track movement in our scene.

Using AEMOCHA to track shape and postion

Lets now add demon eyes using the tracking data captured using Mocha.

Adding the demon eyes effect

Nearly there lets finish up our Demon eyes clip
