Professional Designer and CX Manager

I have been in the world of design, digital media, and marketing for many years now. Throughout this time, I've honed my skills and become very passionate about what I do. I have taught many things over the years on an individual basis, or in small groups. Becoming an instructor online opens the door for me to be able to share my skills with a much larger group of people.

I believe in giving people the best experience possible. This applies not only to the businesses I have worked for, but also in teaching. To do that, I rely on feedback from you, the student. I love to hear what people think about the things I teach, and suggestions on how I can do it better. So feel free to leave comments, or reach out to me and let me know your thoughts or questions.

Here's some of the boring stuff about my history:

Starting at a young age, I dabbled in digital art and created very complex images with the Paintbrush program on Windows. Yes...pixel by pixel. This was well before I knew that Photoshop existed. Even at that time, though, Photoshop was in it's infancy. Over time, I discovered new and exciting ways to express digital creativity. This included 3D modelling and video production. When I was 22, I chose to pursue a college education and further expand my skills.

I obtained an AA in Multimedia, and BA in Video Game Design and Production. I did a bit of freelancing in various multimedia areas. This included producing 3D models and graphics for companies, designing video game characters, designing and building websites, designing logos and business identity, and various other opportunities.

In my career, I've been a Software Interface Designer, Sr. Web Designer, Marketing Manager, Website Supervisor, and most recently CX Manager. Not only have I expanded my creative knowledge, but I am a bit of a tech junkie as well. I love using new technology and digital tools to improve productivity and efficiency. That sounds nerdy, but hey...that's me!

A bit of personal stuff:

Originally from Washington state, I now live in Northern California with my wife and four kids. I've been here for over a decade, and am thinking of ways to migrate back towards home. Online teaching is my first step in making that happen. Feel free to ask me if there's anything you would like to know more about.

Thank you for your interest in my courses. Happy learning!
