Get Your Book Done: Outlining Series

Writing a book can feel like a daunting task. You know you have a story to tell, a book inside you, if not more. But where to begin?

Or, maybe you've been writing for years, but struggle to complete projects because you feel the story gets lost after a while.

Starting—and finishing—are two of the major hurdles writers face. As an avid reader and writer my entire life, I've developed a simple, step-by-step program designed to take you from the most basic idea, through the outlining process and to an amazing final product—your book done.

Join me, Patti Larsen, as I teach you what you need to know to not only complete your novel, but plan for the future of many more to come.

About your Instructor: I've been writing from the age of twelve, creating stories long before I understood what being a writer meant. Through a university education in English and History, a journalism degree and training in screenwriting, I've combined the best of all three in a method that allows me to produce high quality work very quickly. Now a published author—both traditionally and independently—of over thirty-five novels, I'm thrilled to share my knowledge and help you get your book done.

Instructor Biography

Patti Larsen`, Young Adult Paranormal Author

About me, huh? Well, my official bio reads like this: Patti Larsen is an award-winning middle grade and young adult author with a passion for the paranormal. But that sounds so freaking formal, doesn't it? I'm a storyteller who hears teenager's voices so loud I have to write them down. I love sports even though they don't love me. I've had my hands in everything from improv theater to film making and writing TV shows, singing in an all girl band to running my own hair salon.

But always, always, writing books calls me home.

I've had my sights set on world literary domination for a while now. Which means getting my books out there. It's the coolest thing ever, this job of mine, being able to tell stories I love, making a wonderful living at it, only to see my work all shiny and happy in reader's hands.

I also love to teach and have been sharing my Get Your Book Done program for three years now. It brings me so much happiness knowing I've helped other writers realize their dreams, too.

As for the rest of it, I'm short (permanent), slightly round (changeable) and blonde (for ever and ever). I love to talk one on one about the deepest topics and can't seem to stop seeing the big picture. I happily live on Prince Edward Island, Canada, home to Anne of Green Gables and the most beautiful red beaches in the world, with my very patient husband and five massive cats.
